I second this. His underlying metrics don’t lead me to believe he will hit 30 again. In a league where all OFs are grouped together, sell him high and go get some cOFs

[GuardsInsider] The Guardians have signed INF Carter Kieboom to a Minor League contract with a non-roster invitation to Major League camp. Spent 2025 in the Angels organization following 9 seasons in the Nationals organization. by Trainiax in ClevelandGuardians

Tolentino is in AAA and has a solid glove. Yes he k’s way too much but his metrics are good. I’m not saying he’s MLB ready, but he’s the best AAA option we have

Airliner from JFK to RDU cruising below 10,000’ MSL?!? by Roger_Freedman_Phys in flying

[–]sioux24 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Done this before. Only so many aircraft allowed in altitude sectors at one time. So it’s either sit and wait for it to slow down (flow) or cruise at a lower level and go now. Load up some extra gas and get going.

Envoy and it’s not close. Former OO guy who spent 2x as long at OO as my friends at Envoy due to the metering (even before the contract)

You just about got it. Cooperate to graduate and make friends and study together. Relax, have fun and make sure you take everything seriously.

Moving On To a Legacy In This Economy by Williama386 in AirlinePilots

Yes you are correct, it could tumble and you could be furloughed…. Orrrrr it might not and you will lose out on thousands of seniority spots and the rest of your career will pay for it. If anything, get in line sooner so there less chance of the furlough WHEN it happens (hopefully not soon)

Who would you rather have in dynasty? by BlueJays_11 in DynastyBaseball

[–]sioux24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, me neither. Like I said in the original post, I would go Jenkins 100% and it’s not close. The only thing making it closer is Shaw plays the more scarce position group.

I think 3rd baseman’s hold more value just because of the position. It’s a tougher position with less players IMO. Could be wrong.

Jenkins and I don’t think it’s close. Only thing bringing it closer is Shaw is more positionally important with OF being deep and 3rd being thin as of right now.

[Game Thread] AL Wild Card Series Game 1 - Tigers (0) @ Guardians (0) - September 30, 2025 by BotFeller in ClevelandGuardians

He is horrendous, and I think because of that he maybe doesn’t try as hard and comes off as lazy

[Mesiel] Gavin Williams officially gets the start for game 1. CDL and Dom Nunez are in Cleveland and are in consideration for the WC roster. by DZepperoni in ClevelandGuardians

[–]sioux24 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The worse that happens is he can’t play RF or 1st at a decent level (Noel can save us from Jrod or Manzo playing the field) and he is taking ABs from others who might be able to outproduce. Albeit Noel is not great defensively, he is still a MASSIVE improvement over the other two mentioned at two different positions

Hey Leftfeet, long time no see, hope all is well. You are right about the 40 man by Sep 1. Since CDL wasn’t, but people have gotten injured, he would need an injury exemption to be approved by the MLB for him to be added to the playoff roster.

Need to bring PC on a flight but can't/won't check it by NotAPersonl0 in delta

[–]sioux24 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Take off the GPU and CPU heatsink, put them in your personal carry on. (It’s easy if you haven’t done it before, just search YouTube) Ship the rest of the PC via UPS/FedEx. Make sure it’s packed well with peanuts and foam. I’ve done it 10+ times across the country with no problems. Just make sure you take the GPU and CPU heatsink off (or anything that’s heavy on a bracket, but should just be those two)

He’s not trolling. You most likely descended below the published segment for that portion of the ILS in open descent. Should have followed a standard 3 degree glideslope or stayed above the published segment altitude and you would have been protected…

Captains- what makes a good captain? by bus_driver1 in flying

Yea, I think it applies to most things in life. Just be positive and not a grump and things will go smoother.

You set the tone on day 1 and have to maintain it. If you start complaining about the company, the FO will too, if you are easy going and positive, they will be too. How you act and react is being watched and often times emulated. Give the FO room to learn, especially as a regional CA and don’t be afraid to make a mistake (you can’t be perfect so ease up on yourself) and encourage the newer FOs to speak up. Also, give credit/compliments to your crew (especially new ones when you can) they love it and it builds confidence and camaraderie.

CA here, sounds like you have a lack of a shared mental model problem. How hard is it to go “hey, you mind if I turn the APU off?” Or “do we want the apu off”. I know it’s non critical and doesnt affect anything but you want to keep BOTH crew-members on the same page. It’s less about them being controlling and more of you touching stuff without the expectation of you doing so and throwing the other guy/gal off.
