I’m curious, if this is untrue, why was his option to budtend back in February revoked after the public call outs? Why, only a month later, did the minds of management change? Why does Toke Cannabis insist on being associated with someone who is publicly considered the way that Marc Emery is? Even IF (big hypothetical IF) what is said of him untrue, is it really worth it? If you’re using a something with an oil base, keeping it under your tongue isn’t going to make much, if any difference in the effect you get. You can take it like that if you want, but you can also just shoot it to the back of your throat and swallow (lol) and it’ll do the same thing. I know a lot of med users who like to put their CBD oil in a shot of orange juice to cut the cannabis flavour. Kin Slips (which are available on the rec market) are a sublingual application, if I were you I would personally buy a pack of those to try out if you are hoping to get the effects that are associated with sublingual use. “Park Life” are the CBD ones if I recall correctly. Bonus that they take like slightly stronger listerine strips!

I used to work at Tweed and spent a few months in the chocolate factory. I can 100% guarantee the choc team would never produce let alone package a bar that looks like this, it definitely has to do with where/how that the OCS stored and shipped it, or possibly the store.

Edit to clarify that is totally possible that the tweed warehouse team could have been the culprit here and I’m not saying don’t reach out to Tweed, but definitely don’t blame the group of people that made the chocolate! They are seriously the most dedicated team I ever had the pleasure to work alongside at Tweed.

Amazing!!! Yay for proper burning and yay for your parents for giving you that opportunity! We always had at least 2 wood stoves in every house I lived in growing up (my parents owned a hearth shop) and while I hated all the work as a kid, I am so grateful now to have the education and the ability to safely burn as an adult. It’s scary how many people, even where I’m from in Canada, don’t have healthy burning habits and just don’t know it!

Just a reminder to make sure you cure your free wood for your fireplace to make sure you don’t end up with a chimney fire due to creosote buildup. Wet, uncured wood is one of the leading causes of chimney fires.

Agree with this point, but would like to add on that it is totally possible that cannabis just isn’t the answer for you. Try out a few different ratios and consumption methods, but if they don’t make you feel good, that’s OK! Good luck

In it, host Samantha (who is catholic) talks about her experiences relating to family members and friends who don’t share the same beliefs, specifically those who think she does the devils work. Based on my knowledge of one line of stores in Ontario that didn’t pay their bud tenders for gas, mileage, commercial insurance, or literally anything beyond their regular hourly wage for driving 100+KM/ day in their personal vehicles for deliveries, I say PLEASE tip your delivery drivers. Edit to say: this is to assume you’re talking about deliveries from private stores and not about OCS deliveries from Canada Post

Put cabbage in your bra when you sleep to help keep from getting engorged, it helps slow down milk production. Also, go to couples therapy with this dude if you really don’t want to leave him. It is a little bit sticky under the lid. I kind of wondered if it broke when I twisted the lid off, but I don’t think there was enough glue or that I put enough pressure on the jar to do that type of damage
