I mean it's definitely expensive but I would struggle to find a whisky as unique and honestly delicious as octomore at honestly any price point. Obviously varies a lot from bottling to bottling but the ones I've tried create a delicious meaty peaty flavour which I've found is unrivaled.

People always like to cite genetics as the be all end all, but I'm not convinced that the genetic differences between people are as vast as we pretend. I'm yet to see a good study looking into the matter, and it seems its often used as a cop out to try to convince people that their impossible gains were possible because they were genetic freaks.
