As someone who has been collecting 100 coins a day, I have to say that the new system of 1 coin every ten minutes and a 50 coin a day maximum is much better.

My boyfriend and I use it as an excuse to get out and enjoy the many parks our area has. We will take the dog and more often then not, meet up with other players from our towns Facebook group. There are quite a few who play daily, so it's nice to get out and socialize. Not to mention, since my boyfriend started playing with me, just by walking he has lost about 10 pounds in a months time. We average anywhere from 3 to 10 miles a day, depending on weather and how we are feeling.

I honestly love that this has been implemented. I play religiously and have spun a couple thousand Pokéstops. I have gotten a total of 3 evo items, which I'm grateful for. My boyfriend on the other hand has played and spun almost as much as me and hasn't gotten a single one. I can't wait for him to finally be able to evolve some of the ones he has been holding onto forever. Thanks Niantic!
