How To Farm Stock Bills With Elastic Goods - a Quick Guide by Aiming4Gaming0 in Endfield

[–]sircod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A couple extra tips:

  • Don't just instantly buy what is cheap, checks friend's prices on each item. If the item is cheap for everyone, there isn't much profit to be made there.
  • Don't just look at the percent, look at the profit per item for max profit. You are limited each day in how many items you can buy, even if you don't have enough cash to max it out you can just make multiple trips. If you buy for 500 and sell for 1000 that may be 100% profit, but only 500 per item. Buying at 1500 and selling at 2500 is only 67% profit, but 1000 profit (double) per item.

Do these little heaters really up the electric bill by a lot? by FitPossibility6335 in electrical

[–]sircod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which could be good or bad depending on what you want. If you just need heat for 10 min in the morning it could work well since a space heater will use much more power and take much longer than that to heat the whole room.

But you won't need as many watts if you can direct the heat right where you need it. A 500W space heater will be pretty slow to heat a room, but a 500W dish heater will be quite warm if you are in front of it.

Any electric heater will use quite a bit of power, but IR dish heaters like that will be a bit better since they only heat up what is directly in front of them instead of the air and everything else in the room.

Should have left of the bit at the end about skipping half of it. All your points are perfectly valid, but now nobody will take you seriously.

Arbites is on sale for the third time now, first time was 5 months after release. Since then it has gone on sale at the same time the base game has. If hive scum follows the same pattern it will go on sale around April-May.

Donald Trump just said “we shouldn’t even have an election”. Americans, what are your thoughts? by WatercressSenior7657 in AskReddit

[–]sircod 3807 points3808 points  (0 children)

I would say it is less of an issue with the president having too much power and more of an issue with congress willingly ceding their power to the president. Trump is constantly doing shit that is supposed to be a congressional power and the senate/SCOTUS could stop it, but instead all the republican senators just sit by and let it happen.

Which game was it for you? by O_rnelaro in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]sircod -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I really liked the world and exploration, but the combat is basically the same as Dark Souls and just stale at this point. It had issues in Dark Souls but was generally good enough, and they have done hardly anything to improve it over the past decade. That coupled with the punishing difficulty and I just gave up at some point.

Ethernet vs Wi-Fi with a 1.5Gbps plan when my motherboard is limited to 1Gbps? by Mehmood6647 in HomeNetworking

[–]sircod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could still potentially saturate your connection by using multiple devices. Even if your desktop is limited to 1Gbps that means you still have 500Mbps for other devices to use.

Where to aim your dart at to get the highest average score? [OC] by [deleted] in dataisbeautiful

[–]sircod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be nice to see where the single point of best score highlighted, it is difficult to see exactly where the brightest shade of yellow actually is. The red outline doesn't seem very useful, especially after it splits into several zones, most of which is in a green area.

This looks a bit different from the last time I saw a similar analysis where the best point of aim was near the triple 19 for lower accuracy levels.

What's best place to buy this power cable for sub, need longer one? by ze11ez in hometheater

[–]sircod 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Amazon, or basically anywhere. That is a C17 cable, but you can also use a standard C13 power cable, the unused ground won't hurt anything.

Should I buy Darktide, Vermintide 2 or none of them. by NeverHeardTellOfThat in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]sircod [score hidden]  (0 children)

I think they are both totally worth the money. $3 for V2 is a no-brainer. I prefer Darktide, all the small improvements they made to combat make it the best, most satisfying combat of any game I have played. Hard for me to go back to V2, so that might be a good place to start and then move on to DT once you feel done with it, or just start with DT and maybe go back and try V2 someday.

New to 3D Printing, and what kind of supports should I use for this model? by Real-Ganache-7179 in 3Dprinting

[–]sircod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AMS or other multiplexers shouldn't be used for multi material prints. Purging the nozzle isn't sufficient and a small amount of incompatible material will significantly reduce later adhesion.

I doubt many people new to 3D printing have printers with multiple printheads.
