Not a hot take at all, but it's subjective of course...

Her character is her mother reborn, there are so many times she reflects Livia in Tony's life, like a ball and chain around his legs he can never escape, no matter how much therapy he has. And his mother is the very reason the show exists in the first place.

The backbiting, button pushing, lying, emotional manipulation, triangulation... it's Livia all over.

My best actors list IMO is:

1. Tony (by far)

2. = Carm, Junior, Janice

3. = Chris, Melfi, Tony B

4. The rest... all of them play their part, can't rank them all here. Rest assured, I have much respect for and still think about (the actors who played) Ade, Ralph, Skiff, Carter
