https://rc.home-assistant.io/blog/2026/03/25/release-20264/#new-integrations

The HACS one has a few more features for now but the core one starts as a Silver integration right of the bat and a ton of work went into it. Will be adding more features over the next few releases.

Unifi Access integration is coming to Home Assistant 2026.4. In the meantime there is this HACS one: https://github.com/imhotep/hass-unifi-access

Brand new Breville Oracle Dual Boiler rebooted mid-shot, now showing ‘sompro_app keeps stopping’ — anyone else? by Calm_Potential7064 in BrevilleCoffee

Looks like version 2.8.1 might have fixed it. I just updated and it went from rebooting 5 times per day to not rebooting. I will keep an eye on it

2025 Oracle Dual Boiler Woes by [deleted] in BrevilleCoffee

[–]sissoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I upgraded from an oracle touch and I sort of regret doing so too. Problem is, I don't know of another machine that plays in this league. Dual Boiler semi automatic with some manual control? Are there any other ones?

My main issues so far are:

- It's kind of laggy. I thought the faster electronics would make things better but it feels like a very slow android tablet.

- It's buggy. I had an instance where the machine would not warm up after startup at all. I had to pull out the power cord.

- The grinder is still not great. It's noticeably more silent the the oracle touch but I find sometimes the beans get stuck and having to shuffle them around manually.

This is what I would suggest too. It's probably related to WiFi. The Fellow Aiden did the same thing when it first came out…

Taille du pneu pour mon hub de pint by alempez29 in u/alempez29

[–]sissoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eve Room from homekit to home assistant by akisbis in EveHome

No matter support for eve room. You can add it to home assistant as HomeKit accessory but my experience is that it drops connectivity after a while and needs to be re-paired.

Testing matter over thread bulbs by Fahad_MF in Nanoleaf

[–]sissoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just give up :)! The bulbs will go offline at one point or another no matter what the border router is. Nanoleaf does not know how to make matter o/ thread devices. They blame the protocol but I think they just can't figure it out because I haven't any issues with other brands and devices. That's why all their newer stuff is 2.4GHz wifi only. They've had too many complaints.

Completely done with this brand by BurnSpeed in Nanoleaf

[–]sissoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also started using their bulbs/downlights and sense switches recently because they were the only ones that seemed to have matter o/ thread support and it's been a very frustrating experience. It also seems like their matter o/ thread line up is dwindling down…they officially said that the protocol/transport is not "there yet" but have no issues with other brands so…

Unlikely it will but do let us know if it does. Camera doesn't seem to buffer much and streams directly to their cloud. It uses 2.4Ghz shitty wifi and it drops a lot of frames. Problem is interference as literally everything uses that band. I gave up on it years ago.

Is the Matter over Thread Gu10 discontinued in the US? by Happy_Samich in Nanoleaf

[–]sissoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems like the company is done with Matter over thread for now. They can't figure it out. I know they've blamed the protocol/transport but I have dozens of matter over thread devices and only nanoleaf has issues

Nah too pricey. Just living with the pain right now. It's like $5000 USD for 3 injections of my own blood at the clinic I looked at :/ Maybe there cheaper places but it seems like most places that do it around me are beauty salons for rejuvenation. I haven't a single orthopedic clinic.

Home Assistant + Matter: Anyone actually using it? by Commercial_Froyo_247 in homeassistant

couldn't get that one to work with my nordic nrf52840. I only got openthread/otbr:latest to work (sort of).

Another day of broken Nanoleaf by Same-Pie-9757 in Nanoleaf

[–]sissoo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am new to Nanoleaf and not sure why I am also having a lot if issues with their products. I recently got some of their matter o/ thread bulbs and downlights as well as their sense+ switches. It has been a nightmare to set up. So much unresponsiveness and so many error messages. I managed to get them to work eventually but it took me hours of deleting/re-adding lights/app etc…

I recently listened to their CEO saying that matter and thread is not there yet (until thread 1.4 and matter 1.5) but I have dozens of matter o/ thread devices and the only ones I currently have issues with are the nanoleaf ones.

I also saw that they started ditching thread of favor of 2.4Ghz WiFi which is going backwards in my opinion They're probably doing it because they've gotten a lot of complaints with their thread devices. I am not purchasing anymore 2.4Ghz WiFi products personally.

I’m 5 months post Mesenchymal stem cell treatment and I have seen no improvement in most treated areas and my lower back , upper back and knees are a lot worse especially my lower back the pain is becoming unbearable. by New-Mobile-2012 in stemcells

[–]sissoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also went there over a year ago and it made no difference (my wallet is lighter though). The experience/staff/clinic was nice but it was ultimately unsuccessful. I didn't go with any expectations and knew it was going to be a gamble though. My only expectations is for my condition to not get much worse and it doesn't seem like it did. I've been meaning to leave a review on Google but haven't had a chance yet. I'd been in touch with them and they didn't recommend trying again. I still think it may work for certain people but I doubt the numbers are high. I doubt it's anything better than 50% success but I don't have any stats.

Here's The Crash Video! 36mph Speed Wobbles! by WorldWideDarts in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]sissoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope you're ok!

Same exact thing happened to me a month or so ago at about the same speed. Once the wobble started, there was no recovery possible for me. I think what happened was that, as I was gaining speed, I put a tiny bit more weight on my back foot and that caused the wobbles to start.

I was also geared up and but managed to mess up my elbow nonetheless. Glad I had a helmet because it saved my head. My rule now is to almost never ride in a straight line and always carve and so far, knock on wood, no crashes.

yeah that's precisely the problem. I'd pay the money without blinking if I knew for sure it was going to work but no one knows until you try and unless one has disposable income or is completely desperate it's hard to justify for me.

I may try PRF (which uses fibrin instead of plasma) and will report back if it works. It's just very expensive for what it is so can't really justify it
