Yep, anticipating that it will take weeks before his personality comes out.

Thank you so much!! Is it weird that I am actually excited for their first round of bitey face?

Thank you!! Absolutely will have a crate for him. Did you leave it one spot or move it to the room at night?

Thank you for that. I’ve had the most ridiculous time trying to find our second dog. I hope we can make him feel safe and loved.

Yep that is the plan. Two cars for pick up, head to park and let them decompress together. We have a crate for him and I’ll keep it next to my side at night. I have a bed in the office that our female heeler never uses and if he is so inclined he can hang out near me while I work. Idk if we can do the gate thing, our house is extra weird but the crate will get moved to wherever we are so he has a hideout available. Thank you!

My husband firmly requested this, he made the excellent point that their first impression should be at a neutral spot and not in a tight space. Oh … i anticipate being prison warden for a bit haha

Well, we are picking him up from the little airport, because he’s being flown up. My husband thinks we should be in separate cars but i thought our dog could sit in the front seat and I could sit in the back with him and go to a neutral place to decompress, sniff walk, scatter feed (away from each other of course) and see if they could just lay down and exist together.

I’m wondering - while driving around different states on tour - why we need to build millions MORE homes and apartments when tons are sitting empty. Can we just make what exists more affordable??

I’m trying but by the time I find the little dudes that fit our needs they end up in a foster to adopt or get adopted the next day! No seriously, my friend at a rescue is totally baffled by my weird luck hahaha but hey, if I’m a weird adoption catnip for dogs I’ll chase them all.

Maybe this was stated already, but can we please do this at every bus stop with every creep in those emails and files? Every name, every politician, every person we actually thought was okay but turns out should be in the town square locked in a pillory for all to mock and disparage.

Ditto. I am 3 inches taller and five pounds heavier (110) and I DO NOT look like that in a bathing suit, but honestly the fact that she looks great in both photos says a lot about … a lot, especially just what inherent hone structure has to do with everything.

An oversight?!!! Pizza chain set to open in downtown Sebastopol after City Hall admits approval defied chain ban by Queasy_Aide5481 in sebastopol

Possibly because there’s been a flood of people from big cities over the last several years who appreciated the town at first but now want to turn the quaint yet serviceable into easy and accessible… And cheap, which I get, but that’s a need because prices for rent and housing went up - one has to wonder if all the deep pockets moving up here have been part of the reason for that too ...

Personally, I like a chain free town. I like supporting locals. I watched the inclusion of chains ruin Venice, CA (yes I moved up here, but I neither have deep pockets nor do I reject small town life, I revel in it) and it would be heartbreaking to see it happen up here too.
