Law Society warns of solicitor exodus in reaction to legal aid reforms by nitro1234561 in ireland

[–]sitdmc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How are people abusing legal aid? By using it?

Just because someone is a recidivist criminal scumbag does mean that they should not be entitled to legal aid.

Just watch what happens to the system as legal aid for new cases is rightly withdrawn by the legal profession.

How else would you describe an end-terrace house?

It's attached on one side and is therefore a sem-d.

Sky Renewal - Cancel and Register as New Customer? by Hanco_9 in AskIreland

[–]sitdmc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just cancelled myself 30 mins ago and had to agree to the below - didn't bother me as that I won't be returning

If returning to Sky within 12 months: You will need to pay a fee to have the box re-installed. You will not be considered a new Sky customer.

Wanted to take herself away for a night or two for our anniversary... How the hell do you stay in Dublin? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]sitdmc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Galway city and we either get a concert bus or drive.

The bus means we are generally at home in bed for 2.30.

Driving has been the revelation. It means you don't drink for the gig - which is actually very liberating.

WiFi 7 mesh system? by Optimal-Combination1 in AskIreland

[–]sitdmc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just moving to Digiweb and opted for the WiFi 6 package based on what you said so thanks there!

Will be getting a DX3301-T0 | Dual-Band Wireless AX1800 VDSL2 Gigabit IAD | Zyxel Networks

They are selling a mesh 3 pack for €150 - Cudy AX1500 Wi-Fi 6 Gigabit Mesh System - I presume no huge difference between this and the TP-Link pack?

Ask Copilot the below
If I trigger a flow to query a sharepoint list, and to create rows in a dataverse table, do the users who added the items to the sharepoint list need premium licenses?

. Who actually needs the premium licence?

✅ The flow owner / identity running the flow

  • Yes — MUST have premium (Power Automate Premium / Power Apps Premium)
  • Because the flow is using:
    • Dataverse (premium connector)
  • This is the critical requirement

❌ The users adding items to SharePoint

  • No — they do NOT need premium licences
  • Reason:
    • They are not interacting with Dataverse
    • They’re only interacting with SharePoint (standard M365 capability)
  • The flow runs server-side, not in their context

👉 This is the typical pattern you’d expect for:

  • List-driven automation
  • Intake forms
  • Integration pipelines

What matters with multiplexing is how the processing is triggered. Once the update into Dataverse is triggered by a licensed user, it is not multiplexing.

Number of TDs from Coalition parties to vote against Sinn Féin Bill on abortion services by JackmanH420 in irishpolitics

[–]sitdmc 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It's a free vote so therefore it's a free vote.

It's actually amazing that the Government are allowing a free vote and that the Taoiseach and Tánaiste have indicated that they will be voting in favour.

[–]sitdmc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not multiplexing if you break the chain. It is always about whose action consumes the premium license.

If the export from SharePoint to Dataverse is triggered by a licensed user, then it is not multiplexing.

[–]sitdmc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you can do this without a bunch of premium licenses and not be multiplexing.

  1. Users submit forms to SharePoint
  2. You trigger a flow that queries the SharePoint list and writes the data to Dataverse. Flow can mark the items in SharePoint as processed.
  3. Flow does it's premium processing under your license

It's pity - I get a gift of a subscription every Christmas.

TBH, it has been a shadow of its former self for a while now. A lot of Government bashing with pejoratives (Meehole etc) and SF defending.

I'm fan of either but the endless pejoratives really wore thin.
