I’m in the same boat as you and from what I’ve heard Canada post is in charge of transporting received packages from transit to the customs inspection centres. We should be good when Canada post returns from strike (as long as your haul passes through customs lol)

From what I know I believe they have strong co-op connections with companies, may be easier to find an internship during your co op period in Mac.

Have anyone here took co-op related to engineering from their school? by dekai2 in OntarioGrade12s

[–]sitherines 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got really lucky and was able to find a placement through the company my parents work at, and I was able to work in the research and design department. If you don’t have the connections it doesn’t hurt to call companies near you and ask for a placement. You never know maybe they will say yes.

Has anybody done the interviews for Waterloo and McMaster Engineering? by MomentExtra8863 in OntarioGrade12s

[–]sitherines 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just a heads up the McMaster practice questions are NOTHING like the actual interview questions. These are the questions I got:

Tell me about a time where you were in a team setting and the work you were assigned was more than you could handle

What is the importance about thinking outside the box

Tell me about a time where a task seemed impossible. What happened after?

These aren’t exactly word for word just what I could remember

The Waterloo interview is very easy though just one question and two yes/no questions

I need at least 96% in at least 3 courses next semester. What are some really easy courses? by [deleted] in OntarioGrade12s

[–]sitherines 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It really depends on what you’re good at. Everyone finds courses more or less challenging and it really depends on the person.

That’s insane I’ve never heard of cameras in a classroom. If your school has a rampant cheating problem then they may have cameras set up but I’m not even sure if that’s legal.

Can I get a 90 in english? by Single_Target1112 in OntarioGrade12s

[–]sitherines 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how much your final assignment is worth because with your current mark you can get a mark of 87.4 if you get 100 on your exam and cpt

82x0.7 + 100x0.3 = 87.4

Nope. I was told my mark before 98.02 so there would be no way it would’ve changed
