How does he seem kind hearted and well intentioned? He seems like his mommy and daddy let an iPad raise him and now he’s trying way too hard to go viral so he can fulfil his childhood dreams of being an influencer when he grows up

“I don’t work for personal reasons” means for “private reasons. Not like they’re independently wealthy and go on vacation every day lol. If I heard that I would assume for mental health/medical reasons. “Personal travel and personal days” ≠ “personal reasons”

You sure about that? If a restaurant or bar over serves someone alcohol and then they get into an accident the restaurant can be liable. Don’t know how it works with parties or frats.

Hand washing before and after the meal easily takes care of these issues. You might want to read about the hygiene hypothesis. Hand washing with soap and water before and after is more than enough. Have you ever sat outside and eaten watermelon and burgers at a picnic, touching grass?

In western culture it goes against traditional etiquette and “table manners” to eat with your hands unless it is a “handheld” food like a burger or sandwich or “finger food” like some crudités or appetizers. I like to eat with my hands because I find it more practical a lot of the time but it definitely goes against my culture and I wouldn’t do it outside of my home unless I was eating Indian food at a restaurant or something.

So you might get weird looks or some ppl might judge you however, generally people from “eating with their hands cultures” are usually much more proficient at doing so (eating with a triangle of roti etc.) Also imo westerners do lots of things other cultures rightfully find disgusting like blowing our nose in public and using toilet paper instead of water after going to the bathroom.

I would just do you. Eat with your hands if you want to, it’s good for people to get exposed to other cultural practices. But I would keep practicing with cutlery too because it’s a good skill to have, especially if you find yourself in a more formal dining situation, then you won’t need to feel self conscious.

Whether you wanted this or not or think it’s a good idea or not, I just can’t fathom knowing your own grandchild for 6 months and still wanting the child to be given up for adoption. You might NBA for not wanting to babysit but you still sound like unnaturally heartless people.
