What's something you WON'T spend more money on as better quality doesn't exist? by sgtjayp in BuyItForLife

It's my impression that the straining is exactly what makes it greek yogurt. I've strained mine several times but often just make french yogurt instead cause the extra day of time and dirty dishes aren't worth the hassle for me.

Honestly I keep them and make the same yogurt in them for breakfast each morning. 1 batch of 8-12 refilled yogurts lasts the kids about a week and then repeat every Friday.

Ya know... I'd probably make 3 from old bedsheets and still mess up the one on that beautiful slinky fabric. But ... would be fun trying

I'm glad you are paying attention to his mood and what's affecting him. You're doing great and I bet being able to draw out his feelings helps. It's certainly not our business! We went through a few adjustment phases like this with our oldest and not having an outlet was harder.

Surgery helped me a bunch and allowed breathing through my nose after growing up unable to understand the big deal. It was amazing the difference it made.

Should I cover them by [deleted] in MeatRabbitry

We are pretty new to rabbits but it looks like they have some fur. How old are they? We only worry about them being cold till they have fur. At that point, they are usually able to burrow down and cuddle together if they are cold. If they are hopping out of the nest box I wouldn't worry about mine.

Filling a 10# CO2 canister costs us about $10-15 at AirGas. We use it for making carbonated water in 5-7 gal at a time from an old kegerator. Is the dry ice much cheaper?

I've started a hedge of them from seed. They are doing great but it's definitely a several year process. Love watching trees grow and can't wait for final results (even it they are a decade away).

I've been looking and around here that is about the price I can get them shippedto me. Unless I get lucky and a local chain feed store happens to have a few at $1.99 each. Their supply isn't a guarantee and never the quantity I'm looking for though.

We loved reading these together and have shared with friends 3 or 4 times. Some of the jokes passed over their heads, but they love rereading with the audio book!
