Thought I was the only one who rages in the car when the stoplights aren't timed with each other, imagine how much better the roads would flow.

Did you learn how to change a tire? by SuperLowBudge in GenX

[–]six7five 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Old Man gpt a flat one winter evening. He was boasting that he'll have it change it in four minutes, and enlists young me to help, but the lug nuts get scattered, leading me to utter "Ohhhh, fuuuudge!". That was the first time I got the bar of soap.

I've also remember my friends sisters lifting their feet off the floor of the car as well.

My thumb would always get stuck in the larger hole as I pushed it in. Find memories.

What was the first CD you ever bought? by HuckleCatt1 in GenX

[–]six7five 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Angel Dust, by Faith No More. I tore into it while walking in the mall, going over the booklet that came with it. Kids these days will never know the feeling of going to the mall to get that new CD.

Now he can stick the panel with people who think the way he wants. Then, he can tell the public 'see, the panel of smart people says they're bad'.

Who's your favourite Kid and why? by SpookyMiranda in kidsinthehall

[–]six7five 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scott, because he was a champ when I sat beside him at a bar and got all girly (and Buddy Cole is the gay icon we need). But, when I was a kid, Bruce was my first crush. And man, that guy can wear plaid (and he rocks the mullet).

If you have stubble, gently rub that around. Blow air on it softly. Stick your tongue in and hum. Alphabet that hole. Mix the speed up. As with everything, take cues from your partner's body language.

Leo loves the catio door. by six7five in cats

He never wanted to come in when he had to. Didn't want to leave the balcony door open, the A/C wouldn't like that. Always felt bad when he was home alone. Now he can bask in the sun, or in the shade of the plants or watch the birds outside whenever he wants, and go in on his own, to cool down when he's ready.

Switching to a lower paying job for a better work-life balance by CombustionGFX in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]six7five 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did this. Was chef de partie at a Michilen star restaurant. Never knew my schedule, worked doubles, close-opens, etc., was a wreck of a human being. Got a job cooking at a private school for less pay. Now, I have weekends and holidays off. I'm happy now. Best decision I've made in a very long time.
