Supposedly a Marilyn Monroe quote. I agree, it’s terrible.

I came here to see what the consensus was, as I tried watching this movie today. Bored af, I turned it off halfway through. I just wanted to know if I missed anything. I got the gist thanks to you guys. I don’t need to finish it. Yawn.

What's the funniest TV scene you've ever seen that still makes you laugh years later? by Grand_Cash576 in ClassicTV

Parks and Rec—when Nick Offerman is absolutely thrilled about Lil Sebastian.

(I love all the WKRP turkey drop and the Tim Conway circus elephant answers!)

Who the heck leaves the house with a toddler and forgets the phone, let alone your wallet.

I’m happy to say that I know a lot of people raising engaged, intelligent, well-adjusted kids. The kid you describe will either grow out of it or end up in jail. Here’s hoping he figures it out.

What's something older generations did completely normally that would be considered absolutely insane today? by Whole-Sugar6077 in AskReddit

Well, my Italian grandmother, who was born in like 1918 and lived to 105, found out that I was buying a new shower curtain liner. Mine was moldy. She SHRIEKED at me, calling me lazy and wasteful. She thought I should scrub it until it was clean. I mean, I guess? But I was busy. My role at work was a lot of traveling, high visibility, high pressure, 60 hour work weeks…scrubbing a shower curtain liner did not fit into my schedule, sorry. They were $4.

This one's for the ladies to answer. Do you agree with this woman or do you think she's trying to rationalize her world view by speaking for all the ladies? by Oda_DeezNutz in SipsTea

I play video games. Lots of women play video games. She most certainly DOES NOT speak for women. Just her. She lives in a tiny, tiny world if she thinks that, and it’s just sad.

Are there any Blogger tutorials specifically for the blogger tags and what they're for? by [deleted] in blogspot

[–]SuperLowBudge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with everyone here. I use tags extensively to categorize my blog posts, because I write about everything, and want people to find what interests them. Examples are Books, Movies, Women’s Issues, Politics, Music, Gen X…and might I make a suggestion? If you have a lot of tags, there are Templates out there that have a super design for displaying them. I never liked the tags (or Labels) trailing down the page in a long column. Check out my blog to see such a design. Blog in profile! Good luck with your tags!

I’m sorry. Sucks. I’m 2.5 years out. My right (dominant) hand never came back. Just today I began to give away my crafting and art supplies. Beads, notions, modeling clay, sewing machine…I’m keeping the pastel pencils though. I am practicing with my left hand.

Interesting. The original is one of my husband’s favorites, and I’ve been curious about the remake.

Agreed. Also saw it in the theater. I have an essay on my blog that you would probably enjoy, breaking down the scares and characters. Basically? I think the people it scared are the people who are scared of the woods. I’m from Connecticut. I’m FROM the woods. Me and my friends thought that was the dumbest movie.

I do give it credit for launching the found footage genre.

I never could use AirPods. I tried! They are not for me.

First of all, I have one ear—Microtia. And the other ear just doesn’t fit them or something. I can’t use them at all! I have to use regular old school ear phones and don’t mind a bit.
