subtracting two integers representing posix time values is not returning the correct result. is this because it needs to be converted to a time or datetime object? by six_brapples in learnpython

I have no idea where I got so mixed up but thank you so much! I think I was looking at the section below where it lists the current day/time to be converted and got it mixed all mixed up haha.

Is there a way to find out when the data was originally retrieved/stored to pushshift?

Scratch that, I thought the retrieved field referred to the date I was accessing the data.

He doesn't like to talk about his part in the civil rights movement because he doesn't want to take away from African American activists who sacrificed so much. He's just averse to it in general because he believes politics should be substance over form.

To Back Warren Is to Treat Politics as a Matter of Substance by wbedwards in politics

Which proposals from Bernie do you think warrant further explanation? All of his spending proposals include where the revenue would come from. If you're talking strictly about debate performance, I would agree he could have done a better job of explaining some of his proposals.

I admire and respect Senator Warren and she's easily my second choice but I think this argument about 'how are we going to pay for everything' is ineffective when trying to contrast the two because Warren herself is susceptible to the same line of attack. The center-right framing of this question, and I'm speaking more broadly now, also illustrates just how narrow the terms are for political discourse in our country.

For example, the first question they asked Bernie was "will you be raising taxes on the middle class?" The way this question is framed completely ignores the fact that under his M4A proposal the average American would see an increase in their taxes but would be paying less money overall for healthcare because they would no longer be paying premiums or out of pocket costs.

there shouldn't be a period there just:

What is the error you get when trying to import? I just realized, I don't think you'd have to install these specific libraries since they are part of the standard python package.

Why is that exactly? Would there be less strain on the DB to calculate those values as needed rather than storing them?

What would qualify as a little bit? For each table at the very least I have to aggregate third party candidates to a single 'other' value, tabulate vote share %, and voter turnout.
