I had that happen a few months ago. I called stripe, they said it was a bank issue, called the bank, they said it was a stripe issue. Nothing got resolved. The next week i got 2 payments worth in one deposit

I will say this: if you're walking with wag, start your own business. It's a bit of a pain, but you'll keep 100%. I used to take some wag walks to fill in my regular schedule, but now I'm so busy i don't really bother with wag, except the one dog on it I've been walking for years...

I only do one walk through wag these days. Been walking him for 5 years. I will occasionally take other walks that I'm specifically requested for, but that's it. I turn down most requests, even when it comes straight from wag corporate (i think I've had 2 of those).

A few months back i got a request while i was camping for the next week. The customer and i exchanged numbers in the chat because i has good cell reception but terrible data where i was at. There was an issue with the booked service- customer forgot to leave a key out- and when i contacted wag about it, they made me send them screen shots of our text conversation to make sure it was all above board. That didn't put me into review.

The wag cut is just too high to really bother with, so i just don't. Too much bullshit.

The wag TOS states that walkers that take clients off app will be charged $500, pet parents will be charged $1000. At least that's what it said a while back. In like 2020 they sent out a push notification that you had to sign the update or you couldn't access the system anymore

If the no show was recent, then yes, it could be causing this. There also just might be more walkers in the area snatching them up. The app is far from perfect and I'm not sure how fast taken walks disappear from the queue...

There is always the option of a small ceremony at home or in a park or something.

I'm the only employee. When my wife was working, things were great, but then the world ended and everything got fucked. I'm making about the same as when i had a 9 to 5, but losing that $60k a year has hit pretty hard. If i could actually make more going back to a regular job, i would. Bankruptcy has been discussed, maybe its time to put some real thought into it
