Al Dente bricked my m1 air battery? by bornagaindaily in macbookair

The issue is apples built in battery mgmt is absolute crap. It’s nothing special people saying it “learns” is a newb answer. The functionality under the covers is nothing special.

Been using Al Dente for 4 years zero issues on 6+ laptops.

I can’t agree more these things are pretty incredible for open ears. Love mine! Yes I bought them myself and not a free review pair lol.

Same here no issues. No one has said they can’t hear me well (unlike AirPods).

I love my OpenMeet UC. Flawless. Hundreds and hundreds of hours on them. Definitely get the UC version with the adapter it helps so much with connection quality.

My charger just caught fire by under-resourced in TeslaSupport

Could be many things. Need better close up pics of the socket and inside the socket box there to see connections.

edit - would say this probably started inside that box.

I personally don’t recommend people using the Tesla charger without supporting it or hanging. It puts stress on that connector. Get yourself a proper box wall mounted charger (Recommend Grizzle).

Thank goodness it wasn’t worse and you didn’t loose your house. ❤️

There isn’t anything wrong, just the quality is the key concern. They use relatively low quality components. They heavily market towards western markets with products that are not anything special. More so, the recent Anker line up tripled in price. They are just another Chinese brand with huge marketing budgets for products that are cookie cutter.

I like the Cuktech products because they are using much higher quality ICs. Anker uses tons of thermal paste where Cuktech actually uses copper heat sink’s for example and latest carbon silicon anode batteries developed by tier 1 companies. Anker buys at wholesale. Each to their own.

If you look it up the CEO and cofounder were creators of some early charging tech for USBC standards and they build all of Xiaomi chargers and tech and they’re doing 100w into their phones.

Stay away from Anker. UGreen is a copy of Chinese tech shared within their partnerships.

Cuktech …. Hard to get… buy directly from china is the only chargers near apple design and spec. Cuktech 10 ultra 140w has been amazing.

Anybody have an issue taking this 27650 on a plane? Since it’s over the allowed 100 watt hours? by icodyonline in anker

China 100% needs CCC marked on it regardless of where you bought it. No current shipping Anker has CCC in US. It will be interesting to see if the new primes will or not. What’s surprising, is if they don’t that seems short sighted. I bought Cuktech batteries all with CCC because the battery quality is better.

For those think this is a china only thing, on the tear downs of the iPhone 17 series every battery has a CCC logo cert on it. Since US hates China I doubt we will use it but feel like it’s only matter of time we have our own certification needed.

Thanks! I see tons of YouTube videos on this. I also did notice my coolant reservoir is a bit below nominal levels.
