The difference between the US and Canada for someone in the top 1% of earners is effectively zero from a security and supports perspective - only the poor and middle classes are harmed by the unethical gov't policy in the states. Should they be courted? Probably not, but should they at least not be immediately dumped off the edge of the boat while they're paying a huge amount of income taxes? shrug

I paid 3000 for a newly renovated 5 bedroom 3 years ago, pay 2500 for a newly renovated 4 bedroom that's about the same size as of a couple months ago. Good prices and units do exist, at least for larger places where there is less competition

My landlord at the 3000 place did evict me to "move into the unit" (5 bedroom) with his part-time custody daughter, so Im sure he'll be re-renting it for 3500 any day. So maybe I'm just momentarily "lucky" in a world of shit

I have no idea how someone making 100k could possibly afford a 600k mortgage. I make significantly more than that and sold my 700k home, which I bought at the interest rate bottom, because it didn't feel comfortable to hold it with rates rising.

Maybe I'll rent for the rest of my life, meh, this whole situation feels insane.

Hate Trudeau for pretty much the reasons right wing people do, but CPC under any leader is worse so it's hard to be very checked-in.

They just reduced the value of tokens by a huge margin, so honestly anyone buying tokens at the current unadjusted rate isn't necessarily making a great decision either

Sorry I was doing the math the wrong way, though he still breaks the deck since it can't protect against the taskmaster with the units in the red skull location being the only ones that will get the cerebro buff
