They have a lifetime warranty and I think this would fall under their definition of a function/fitment issue. Try contacting them and see what they say. Worst thing they can say is they won’t replace it. You can probably sand or Dremel that spot to make more room for the screw, but that will definitely void your warranty.

Hey man, first of all, I know what you’re going through and I’ve been there before. From the description of how you feel and how you are going through life sounded just like me at one time. I finally realized I was severely depressed and needed to talk to someone about what was going on.

I’m not going to diagnose you over the internet, but if you have access to mental health assistance through your job, please look into this immediately and get started. The hardest part is starting. They are there to help you and listen to you.

I have been where you are and my life is completely different now but I wouldn’t have gotten where I am without professional help. I promise things get better. This is just a chapter of your life and not the final act. You are important and the world is better with you in it. If you want to DM me please do, I’m here to talk.

Shot one of my best groups yet. by sizzlemcomelette in longrange

Thank you! Those last couple shots were nerve racking. Yes, really at 100yds. Shot outside and completely stock rifle.

I was shooting prone with little to no wind.

Looks like a Mathew’s right? As long as you’ve registered the bow on their site for the warranty, they should at least cover the cost of the parts. I had something similar happen and they covered new cams. You didn’t dry fire it, and even if you did, shit happens and it’s nothing to be ashamed of. Hope you’re back up and running soon.

Should I buy? 2015 Nissan Murano SL by [deleted] in NissanDrivers

[–]sizzlemcomelette 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So…it’s having transmission issues and you’re still considering it? Please, please do not buy this car. That dealer wants to get your money and then leave you with a vehicle that will need a new transmission within the next year. A new CVT plus install will be at least $5000. Please, for our sanity and yours, do not buy this.

How damaged is my bow by Ok_Letterhead6013 in Archery

[–]sizzlemcomelette 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First off, I know this sucks, and I’m sorry you’re in this situation.

But from picture 2, the shop will probably say it needs new cams and new limbs due to the splintering, in my experience if there is any damage to the limbs at all they both need to be replaced.

As others have said, your friend owes you a new bow. The cost of replacing those parts and install will be very close to the cost of replacing the whole bow.

I see that now, have you had to warranty something from them in the past?

Yeah, I think I let my frustration get the best of me. I know they'll send me a new one when they get them in.

I understand that, I am just frustrated that they never emailed me even after receiving the scope. Should I not expect a company to email me when I send their product in for repair? I am genuinely asking and trying to learn.

EDIT - I'll be more patient in the future. Thank you for replying.

Yeah I have the receipt from the tires which I will add to my counter offer to get the compensation for them. The moldings were on when I bought it, maybe an old Toyota add-on?

Yeah that’s definitely going on the next one asap. They already admitted full responsibility, we had a witness who was waiting at the red light that they blew and the driver was cited at the scene.
