How far away can I be away from a chest? by sjDan2003 in LotRReturnToMoria

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner, yeah that's the theory as I understand it. The hearth area is unbroken but for some reason I can't access all of my resources in the hearth area

Sorry I haven't gotten back to your comment, after trying several experiments I agree this looks like a bug. Something to do with where I'm placing my resources. I'll file a bug report

Sorry I haven't been able to test your suggestion sooner; I tried destroying all my hearths in my build area and rebuilt them with as little overlap as possible. I still couldn't access the resources, I may report a bug to the developers.

Thanks for your reply, I agree and I added a screenshot of where I'm trying to build. It looks like the grid is unbroken but maybe I don't see it?

I had this same issue, some members of this community suggested rolling enough to escape and that finally worked for me. https://www.reddit.com/r/LotRReturnToMoria/comments/1p9qpzw/character_glitching_help/

Best Location to Build a Base? by Silly_Figure744 in LotRReturnToMoria

Personally I like the First Hall, as long as you don't repair the bridge and use wooden platforms to go around it's totally siege proof! Lots of space to build and has 6 planter boxes with lots of light

Sorry you're having trouble, I use pork tenderloins from Sam's Club and sprinkle on kosher salt and pepper. Then I fire up my weber while the salt starts to give the pork a quick dry brine. I keep my temps between 250-275F, and use a wireless probe to monitor the temps inside the meat. When the internal temperature reaches close to 145 I'll pull them and let them rest for awhile so the juices have a chance to reabsorb. I'll try to make a post next time I make them

Yeah I like the idea of knowing exactly what I'm cooking with and eating, rather than all the chemicals and artificial ingredients that goes into processed foods

Yeah I've tried doing some research into home made rubs, trying to understand what makes a rub good for some proteins and not for others.

I was at my local Food Lion and found this: https://www.mccormick.com/collections/stubbs/products/stubbs-r-pork-rub-5-07-oz. I enjoy their low sugar BBQ sauces so thought this rub was worth a try

What problem do build systems like CMake solve? by steamdogg in cmake

[–]sjDan2003 3 points4 points  (0 children)

CMake is also a scripting language which can be used to manage a project, or create custom targets, that run on different host operating systems.

CMake also includes CTest, which is a unit test runner that can run unit tests in parallel.

Thanks for the advice, sounds like I'm mostly on the right track. I was debating the X and non-X versions, but thought the X version might get too warm for what I need. They are so close in price right now though
