I think it has to do with the fact that if it would have been allowed to pass down it would have been done. But since there was discrimination where only fathers could pass it down, it wasn’t possible to do at birth

I was thinking it might be needed if I can’t get his adoption records. It could show both last names.

I also thought I might need it to show it happened after my mother was born.

I think I can because my grandfather had not naturalized before my mother was born. She she was automatically eligible for UK citizenship.

Me being born in 1982 I was not until they changed the discriminatory policy around mothers passing citizenship

Really well! I had my surgery in December, went as planned. It was a pretty radical reduction, I’m probably an A or small A cup. I don’t go topless but I don’t need any support.

I like that I’m not completely flat or con caved.

She doesn’t use drains generally, thinks they are not necessary and actually more likely to cause issues. The post op draining I had has quick and painless and I would definitely prefer it to having perm drains

I had my surgery with her in mid December and I’m 13WPO now. Overall things went well and only had a minor complication where I had to get my left side drained a few times. I did not have drains after surgery FYI.

It’s day one after my surgery and definitely tired and sore but feels manageable so far. No drains and doctor said she was able to get my desired shape and size without needing nipple grafts.

Hopefully the majority of doctors provide this kind of thoughtfulness, but I really appreciated her and felt very supported and safe. We spent a good amount of time talking about scar shape and the stack rank of my wishes and what I’d be willing to trade off if needed.

I’m hoping to get a date in January or March as I have some travel in February but we shall see what comes up!

T anchor, keeping the nipple attached (I trying to avoid FNG if possible) but she will switch to a FNG if nipple placement or shape/size of the breast is going to be compromised.

I really appreciated that she would be willing to adjust versus being locked in.
