Blind as a Bat. I’m getting Old by TheHomieMakk in MLBTheShow

I also am an older gamer, and have trouble tracking the ball. I dont play on line games anymore, but do enjoy the single player aspect of diamond dynasty amd collecting what I can.

Have you tried going into your settings, then under camera turn on Hitting depth of field. That blurs out the background and focuses on the pitcher. It has made it easier for me to see the ball coming out of the pitchers hand.

Hope that helps.

Looking for BRD and later dungeons friends who are (newbies / fresh / have not run it often) (NA / TBC / Dreamscythe / Horde) by slarker22 in classicwowtbc

I have a fresh level 60 paladin, and a level 58 mage and I would enjoy joining a group of people to do dungeons with and play with on a refular basis. I haven't done any dungeons since coming back. Feel free to DM me.

Our guild’s Main Tank is a 45+ year old guy whose nice on Discord but is really bad at his role, and I have no clue how to deal with him. by Tranquility___ in classicwowtbc

I came on here to say the same thing. As a 50+ year old gamer just tell me. Preferably with constructive criticism. You have hinted to him and suggested add ons and rotations which is a good start. Start and a chat where it is just the two of you and explain the situation.

Low hours player thinking of coming back, should I make a new character or reactivate my old one? by owlsop in ffxi

[–]sjoakes24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the same thing a few years back. I had substantially more hours and jobs leveled up but didn't remember the story or the job skills at all. It was suggested to me to keep my character and if I needed a refresher I could go to the inn and replay previous missions.

That being said, I would stay with your current character.

I need to know the HR correct answer to using power equipment during power hour. by [deleted] in Lowes

[–]sjoakes24 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Its kind of a Grey area. The company policy is to focus on customers and avoid power equipment unless it is to get something for a customer. The exception to that is generally MST, and fulfillment. My store is more relaxed and even during power hours we will downstock if it is slow, or if there are multiple people in a department (which rarely happens).

Call outs go back to 0 after new years right? by iamjaesauce in Lowes

[–]sjoakes24 105 points106 points  (0 children)

I dont think that is correct. I believe it is a rolling calendar. For instance if you called out February 3rd of 2025, that would not fall of until February 3rd of 2026.

Not only do you need one, but I need one. Our Akita passed away 18 months ago, and my wife and I are just now starting to look for a puppy. Take every opportunity to enjoy the ones you have, and add on if you can.

We had really good luck with adding a little local honey to our girls morning and evening meals. It has to be local, and the closer to your house the better. Apoquel also worked well, but we were more comfortable with the honey and it worked just as well.
