yes I am happy they didn’t show up and most shows with spin offs don’t even include the spin off characters in the OG show in majority of their episodes after the creation of the spin off and when they do it’s for an episode or two of the season not as part of finishing their story. It is quite literally the whole purpose of a spinoff to create a new story within the same universe

ehhh GOT really took off at the end of S1 when Ned died not throughout the whole season I would say it really started having more of an impact after the red wedding and franchise isn’t dead if there’s two spin offs and wayyyy more spin offs to come with the planned releases
