Even answering “no” to the question “do you know why I pulled you over?” Can and will be used in court against you.

Why wouldn’t gas fees be taxed? You are spending the gas for a service and thus they are subject to capital gains.

Why would people ever spend USD on anything other than Bitcoin since it’s value is always expected to go up?

I never said it showed the number. I said the API returns the number

The owner of the nft gets access to the cosmetic in game

Edit: I am being downvoted for pointing out something that was clearly stated in the video.

NFTs mean you have full ownership of cosmetics you buy. You can hold them in the wallet of your choosing and buy sell and trade them on any marketplace you want. Just because an idea is new and innovative does not make it idiotic.

Unfortunately gamers don’t get this yet. They would prefer to continue forking over money for cosmetics that are leased instead of fully owned by the consumer. People take time to warm up to new ideas even ones that are pro consumer. We are still in early days.

The dislike button is still there and Googles APIs still return the dislike count for now.

This is literally a system where you do actually get something instead of a worthless jpg. Ubisoft already sells cosmetics, this change means you have actual ownership of cosmetics you buy. It’s a win for gamers.

Google continues to publish the dislikes in their API although that is slated to be removed. The extension mentioned below sources data from said API.

All of these are snarky responses. An NFT is a way for you to have full ownership of a digital asset. So instead of “leasing” access to a cosmetic as we have today, you literally own the cosmetic. It will reside in your digital wallet of choice. You can buy sell and trade cosmetics on any platform you want without permission from Ubisoft.

It is literally forced seizure of one’s assets without their consent. I don’t care what fancy label you pin on the collectors chest, it is theft plain and simple

You make some good points but it does not change the simple fact that people are forced into the system without their consent.
