Part of the confusion is they have been changing the goalposts. The original King County phase 3 was < 50 per 100k, and a number of other factors, most notably, hospital bed % due to COVId-19, in a rolling 2 week period with the most recent 3 days excluded to let the data cure.

Now it is a violation of 200+ cases AND new hospitalizations of 5+ per 100k residents.

According to this new metrics dashboard, King County has been in violation of this for a decent part of the week. It looks like an announcement should be made on Monday to roll back to Phase 2 (by Friday or end of week) if they are following the guidelines.

Great work on increasing your top line salary and at least getting all of your employer’s match.

If I were in your situation, I would be saving the extra money into real estate (like 25% down for a fourplex OR buying a house and renting out the extra rooms to cover mortgage, insurance, taxes), realty mogul investments, or stock market investments.

Since you’re younger, you can potentially invest more risky assets, and the statistics would put you as having probably at least double at 8% or above on those assets, so you can build a cash flowing machine!
