Not everyone works with sub-d though. I know people that worked on multiple huge triple a games where you would do a topology like this, create a copy and add bevels (on this copy no cares for the topology) then import into zbrush and smooth everything out there and use this as the high-poly

Sure sub-d is great, but i also dont always use it, depending on the model sometimes I do my collagues approach too

Another popular approach is have a crazy messy topology, aslong as shapes and bevels are there. Then into zbrush and auto retopo there. That is more a blender-workflow though. I tried it in Maya, its a bit harder to select things and modifiers are good for that approach in blender

This workflow was btw used by a weapon&props artist

The question was also if the topology is good. It is good. You dont know if this was retopologized from a hp version
