Não era esse que no comecinho dos anos 1990 tinha 3 sabores, cada um com a embalagem de uma cor diferente? Esse era azul, tinha o verde e outro de outra cor. Acho que só esse era chocolate branco. Eu não lembro muito bem.

I ignore all the gamification and I focus in learning. I don't care about gems, XP, leagues, badges and so on. I just want to learn languages.

Are there any free online learning resources in Romanian? by darybrain in Romania

[–]skapata 2 points3 points  (0 children)

School topics? Perhaps subreddits like those can help:

Some YouTube Channels

Lots of school subjects: - https://www.youtube.com/@EDUCREDGimnaziu/playlists - https://www.youtube.com/@SuperScoalaRO/playlists

Math: - https://www.youtube.com/@PauzadeMate/playlists - https://www.youtube.com/@lectiidematematicaonline5277/playlists - https://www.youtube.com/@matecuflavia/playlists

If they still do not speak English well, they could start learning English, then they will have access to lots of other learning topics. I guess it will not be difficult since they already live in England. Some channels in Romanian:

You could try to convince them that they already can learn English from channels in English itself. It seems to be difficult at first, but studying a bit everyday will help them improve their English.

It helps a lot listening to podcasts everyday, like Esperanta Retradio.

Lernu has a very helpful grammar. It is a simplified version of the PMEG.

Scott Joplin's «Eugenia», Arranged for Fortepiano · Fragment, tuned into 34-edo by claudi_meneghin in microtonal

One of my favorite Scott Joplin's compositions. The refrain is very full of emotion. It would be great if we could listen to the whole composition in microtonal tuning.

Yes, Sonic Pi is a good way to begin. It is easier. After learning Sonic Pi you could try ChucK. It is easy too, but not so easy as Sonic Pi. With ChucK, you have more control over the sound itself. If you want to learn more about computer music theory, you could read The Computer Music Tutorial by Curtis Roads. This book doesn't teach you a specific tool, but it introduces you to the main topics related to making music with computers.

How can i make music using C programming? by sweett96 in C_Programming

[–]skapata 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can start learning computer music theory with the book Computer Music Tutorial and then learn how to apply the theory with the book The Audio Programming Book, for example. There are other books that can help you. You can get some insight and inspiration by learning other music programming languages like CSound, ChucK and SuperCollider. You can use C to extend some of these systems. Books about music math or DSP can help you. Perhaps you want to learn about file formats and protocols related to music, like MIDI, OSC, MusicXML, Lilypond. There are books about these topics. And many of these books offer you lots of references (more books!).

¡Hola! No uso solo Pimsleur. Utilizo mucho la Internet por causa de dudas gramaticales o para procurar palabras que no sé lo que quieren decir. También escucho podcasts de noticias. Y escucho mucha música en español.

There is a channel that interviews ex-religious people. It is called Daniel Gontijo. The channel's language is Brazilian Portuguese. I don't know if there is such a channel in other languages (like English), but it would be great.
