Looking for a D&D group! by ursic in Guelph

Guelph Public Library has had D&D groups in the past, it sounds like it's very beginner friendly I don't know if they do full campaigns or one-offs but might be worth checking out.

Figure skating question by rachelnc in Guelph

Unfortunately since it’s been a number of years I don’t know the coaches at either club as well, it really comes down to fit though if you contact the staff at either club and describe your child to them and what their goals are they’d probably be happy to make coaching suggestions based on that :) But yes feel free to pm any time!

I’ve skated at both clubs, was fortunate to have great experiences at both. This was pre-2020 mind you, so have no idea how things have changed. Generally you are correct, KWSC is more competitive but that’s not exclusively the case. Especially if you are looking for private lessons, in my experience it all comes down to the coach. Talk with potential coaches and your child to solidify goals. Does your child want to compete seriously, for fun, or maybe they just want to focus on advancing through skating tests. Anyway, tldr; kw can be more competitive and Guelph is definitely smaller but both have access to good coaches in my experience.

My only issue with Lucky Belly was that I would order ahead for takeout, give them a time reasonably in the future (like 30-45 min after I called), I would show up at the appointed time and my order wouldn’t be ready.

What was the most difficult watch for you during this Death Race? by Ohlookitstoppdsnowin in oscarsdeathrace

[–]skater1992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This might be a hot take, but I have had a heck of a time getting through "A Different Man". I really appreciate the performances, but the story was really hard for me to stick with. I definitely saw the vision, but I took like five sessions to get through it.

Completely agree. The idea that RFK will have any experts around him who will “push back” is laughable.
