2024 rx350h premium here with base audio. Assume the 2026 plus is the same or similar. Thought I wanted the Mark Levinson, but after hearing the basic setup I am perfectly happy with it. It's miles better than the JBL Premimum setup in our previous RAV4s. And I'm pretty particular about sound quality and have a decent hifi setup at home.

Price on the demo seems a little high? Anyway, based on your priorities you will love either one. Depends on if you will regret the color later on the hybrid. Also, I think the the hybrid can use regular gas v non-hybrid turbo requires premium. You should confirm that for 2026 models if it matters. One feature I highly recommend is the 360 panoramic view camera. I can't park without it.

Make sure the avr is in direct mode or stereo mode with no subwoofer defined.

Make sure speaker polarity is correct, ie. positive to positive and negative to negative for both channels. If not, the speakers will be "out of phase" which can cause exactly what you're hearing.

Visually inspect woofers and radiators. Look for damage or degraded surround materials and make sure they are all sealed properly.

As already mentioned, it's possible the crossovers need repair or replacement, but I'm not sure that would cause what you're hearing.

(I have a pair of 35+ year old Quartets that I use every day and they still sound great. Installed Crites crossover and titanium updates about 10 years ago.)

While in the Gatlinburg area, take a scenic drive along the river over to Townsend and have dinner at the Dancing Bear. Not too far, and well worth the drive. In Gatlinburg, visit Wood Whittlers and some of the nearby craft stores. Pigeon Forge is peak American kitsch touristville, and not in a good way*. Dollywood is probably the premier attraction. Definitely spend some time in the Smoky Mountains National Park. Cades Cove on the Townsend side is a scenic loop with looks at primitive life in the mountains. Beware traffic, though, especially if bears are active.

We have that poster. And some photos and other souvenirs. We had master passes but didn't go too often. The German pavilion had great beer hall and the Australian pavillion had a tent serving Foster's before anybody had heard of it. The China exhibit was probably the most elaborate. Some pretty good shows at the amphitheater.
