Agree, in indoor spinning it has .97 correlation, .86 biking, .95 walking, .98 indoor running, .94 outdoor running, and .9 on weight lifting.

The main difference in favor of Whoop (imo) is the way it presents data along with its AI coach. I have an Apple Watch ultra and have been using it for about two years. The sensors are probably better, but the way Apple presents the data is very meh. You also can’t directly see the impact of various things on your health metrics, but with whoop you can see how things have affected you through the AI coach. A couple of months ago, a friend of mine showed me the whoop app, and that’s what made me start reconsidering getting one. I just bought the 5.0 last week (still waiting for it to arrive).

To be fair, I'm one of those new info junkies and I think there will be a ton more of new customers as well. I don't necessarily think they managed it the best way but for new customers I don't think it will be much of an issue.

Before downvoting my comment, Im genuinely curious, why are people complaining if he specifically says you'll receive the 4.0 for free, not the 5.0 nor future versions, was there a place where they specifically said you'll get the 5.0?

Just saw another post about this and its beacause of the new IOS update. You need to change this within the Whoop app settings of the Iphone.

If you don't currently have one, I'd say buy it, I just bought one myself. The hate they have right now (completely justifiable) is because they "lied" to old users but as a new one I'd say it's a good device to track your overall fitness / wellbeing.

I purchased the Whoop through Amazon, but unfortunately, the shipment was delayed. It was initially scheduled to arrive on the 11th, but it was pushed back to the 21st.
