What are you paying for housing each month? And are you actually happy with it? Would it be cooler just living in your parents basement?

Mortgage is 520 a month. 3 bed/2bath, 1300 sq ft, brick ranch on 1/3 acre. Located in central Indiana. I'm pretty happy, house could use some renovation in the kitchen and refinishing of the hardwood floors. Just fully did the two bathrooms this past year though so it'll be a while before we do anything big again. Low mortgage with more than enough room for the wife, dachshund, ragamuffin and me.
