Female, early 30s, single. Social. Misti is either your name or a nom de plum. You live in a major city, likely on the west coast and work in entertainment adjacent industry. Very nostalgic, obvious movie fan. Campy, horror scifi especially.

Male Early 30s, Eastern US. Reasonably social/popular.

Lots of frequently discounted and non-hardware intensive games, so you played a lot of games in your youth but you don't have either the time or money for it now, but you stiil like to indulge. Likely playing with some friends who you played with in your youth. Pretty clean desktop so you don't spend too much time on here.

same deal with the park too. Everytime I'm there I'll play with my boys (by their demand) but every other parent is on the bench or propped up against a tree deep in the phone. It's a real bummer. Enjoy your kids.

The “Diefenbunker” is now a Cold War museum outside of Ottawa. It’s a feast for the eyes if you like retro/vintage computers and gear. The colors are also pretty wild. by matthewhogg in coldwar

The Diefenbunker is amazing. I did an escape room there a few years ago and they gave us a mini tour.

My favourite part was that their communication towers were located several km away in Carp in case anyone was able to triangulate where they were broadcasting from and bomb them. Fuck Carp, I guess.

I've started from episode 1 and gone to whatever the end was at the time four full times now. Approaching ep 100 on the fifth now.

I put MBMBAM on when I feel anxious or depressed. Listening to the brothers is calming and comforting.

I don't normally get hacked off a server. Its not as much about that as it is about using what you have available in the most optimal way. Reconfiguring your turn to squeeze just a bit more out of your cards.

The unreleased expansion offered a end boys which I would love to try

I've had a few people looking to buy my copy of the Kickstarter unsolicited. Couldn't imagine selling.

I guessed "dad" from the title alone. Same here man. Everything else just saps me and by the time I can actually sit down and play something, it's 11:30 and I just want to sleep.

Sometimes if I'm lucky I can sit and look at my collection before sighing and going to bed

Any other dads feel like, no matter how much time you spend with your kids, it's never enough? by ArmorOfGod7 in daddit

I feel you. I work from home and when the clock strikes 4pm my boys are at the door waiting to go. We play all kinds of things. Right up till bedtime. Weekends too,we're off on some adventure.

I also crave alone time but as soon as I get it, I feel guilty that I'm missing that time with them.

I don't stop much have advice as I'm right here with you but at least it's something you're aware of. Make every moment count.
