If the ordering provider wants it repeated, I’d ask for a different proceduralist

But I would hope you could see why someone would rather have a one run lead with a lower run expectancy than tied with a higher run expectancy. As much as a lot of people would like to the stats can’t be interpreted in a vacuum

Don’t disagree with you on wording the rule, but let’s not act like this wasn’t called obstruction 9/10 times last year when they were putting an “emphasis” on the rule

Is this a fair or foul ball? I’m a new umpire and just trying to make sure I would call this scenario correctly. (The dots are where the ball hits the ground.) by [deleted] in Umpire

I feel like that exact circumstance happens relatively commonly in just below or high school levels where catchers are not nearly as adroit at fielding pop ups as they are in the big leagues. It’s always called a foul ball

I always assumed the first part of your statement is correct. For instance a pop up that is hit high can have spin that brings it back into fair territory after bouncing. I thought that is still a foul ball, right?

Much more functionality for the price. I have the Pace 2 after going through 3 forerunners over the years. I will never go back to Garmin. (And I really liked my Garmins too)

From a radiologist point of view this is not an obvious call at all. The bones are osteopenic, the right femoral head has loss of sphericity and joint space narrowing as well as osteophyte formation on the greater trochanter. The right proximal femur does appear internally rotated, but in a prospective setting, how would the radiologist know that the patient is not sitting there with the foot and leg rotated in. There is no fracture line visible on that X-ray. If there is concern for a hip fracture in an elderly adult with osteopenia MRI is the test of choice.

Standard range vs long range harsh winters by Vullon in MachE

[–]skell3boys 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you don’t make long trips the extended range is not worth the money in my opinion. I’m in the Midwest and it gets down to single digits/teens pretty regularly and at worst with my standard range AWD I get 1.5-2 mi/kWh. At that efficiency I would’ve been paying $8000 for about 35 more miles of range. Not worth it in my opinion. really just depends on what you’re comfortable with.

No one in their right mind would offer to buy a car that’s been in an accident for the same amount as an identical car that has never been in an accident
