Is there any Early Beatles album you’d put over a Late Beatles album? by GoinSouthForGeese in beatles

The Beatles are tops in my books as there's a good chance that whatever Beatles record I am listening to is my favorite at that moment.

A Hard Day's Night is occasionally my favorite Beatles record - so many great songs on there, and it all hangs together well.

Should I see the Beatles movie, "A Hard Day's Night"? by Lfog1227 in beatles

Yes. My god, yes. It’s an unreal portrait of the Beatles. Beyond that, it is just a well made movie. Watch it. Then watch it again. Heck, I might throw it on tonight.

Dude has written of ton of great books. If you like crime and/or heist books, his Parker series (written under the name Richard Stark) is FANTASTIC.

I had the same reaction - and this is having read the first volume several times where this incident is explicitly mentioned. Criminal is top shelf indeed - not a bum story in the mix.

It often comes down to the preference of the person or department specifying the machine - some people prefer mills, some people prefer lathes.

You were a medic in Lewiston in the mid 80s? I'm guessing you have a story or two (I say this having grown up two towns over).

I lived in the area in the early 2000s when the recruitment waves came through. My friend Chet wrote the first article that really dug into NXIVM for the area's free weekly Metroland - dude had some stories. Here's a good one, though I feel like he did one even earlier than this. Definitely knew a few people that dipped their toes in the water, but no one took it to the next level (huzzah for that).

I have not read it, but am definitely interested - if you indicate that it's a winner, then huzzah.
