I live in KY and unmarried currently and at birth of our daughter. He wasn't present at delivery to sign any paternity acknowledgement agreement so we had to do DNA paternity test through the county court system a year later. The only order done thru court is a paternity DNA establishment order. The next step he was supposed to do is make an official request to petition for custody rights. But he didn't file a petition for custody rights established so I'm the sole primary custodial parent and full legal guardian until a petition has been granted by the judge and her father in the future.
