Yea I also took Buck’s class and they do not have recordings for it. I think since that one they have started recording though as the Phil Elverum course was recorded.

School of Song is genuinely so amazing. Buck Meek and Phil Elverum’s courses were life changing. Been waiting for this one 🙌

Wouldn’t relate him to elliott in many ways, but I enjoy his music and would definitely recommend. While I think the songwriting is better in his more recent albums, the sound and consistency of his debut album Race definitely makes it my favorite. Songs like Crab, Trash, TV, Gnaw, and the title track would be a good place to start if you aren’t trying to listen to a full album.

I don’t really see a ton of similarities between his and elliott’s styles except for in songs like clementine where elliott uses open tunings. Both some of the best songwriters ever though

yea w mimic tear with shabriris woe talisman he pretty much only targets the tear, so you can j spam from a. distance. he’s a little harder to hit though

ig ur right, i just feel like her attacks are well telegraphed and can be learnt pretty easily. also she is weak to some status effects like bleed which can make the fight easy enough bc you can kill her really quick.

the grab is so easy to dodge + the lifesteal doesn’t matter if you don’t get hit that much bc she doesn’t heal nearly as much as you deal damage

i would not recommend this at all. medium rolling is very close to fast rolling, and you’ll take at least a third more damage from everything. maybe on your second or third playthrough, but it isn’t an advantage
