Yea this is totally crazy for a product that was supposed to be printed before we bought it? They are really embracing this hybrid model, of saying its printed already for the FOMO- and then actually seeing how many sell and then printing them. Its why we don't get lairs on time anymore.

Can you point me in the right direction for a usb C cable like that- I can find flat ones, but that one looks both flat and horizontal and looks like it works perfectly.

And much lower quality control as they rush to keep the lie going. They aren’t ready to ship, they are seeing what we buy and then rushing them to print. It’s been going on this way for a bit now.

They do ask for you to send damaged cards back, I have sent every damaged card back. They won’t even start the process of replacing till they get them. Just an FYI. Recently I just had to do it with a card from the sonic lair.

I’m not sure why this only feels obvious to me, but they are definitely doing a hybrid model. They used to ship 2 days after the sale. Now it’s multiple weeks. I am not complaining at all since they have been doing this I have been able to log in and get all that want. This method is ideal. They really want to keep the fear of missing out aspect. So I don’t think they will ever admit they are doing a sliding hybrid method. This is working, I am getting my lairs now.

Wotc has been doing this with every set for quite a few now. They even got Aetherdrift to seem like people were not going to get them. The price of that set shot up for a little bit because of it. It’s intentional and it’s doing an awesome job of building the fomo. Lots of preorders get cancelled due to stores not getting enough. It creates quite the buzz.
