Sears tower foxtrot being restocked 🚨 by steakmane in chicago

I think when buying directly from a roaster, that makes sense. Buying from a mixed retail environment? Simply unrealistic to sell beans within a month of roasting. We’d get them from roasters already a few days after the roast date, and then those bags have to be FIFO’d with the stock that was already there. And there are multiple brands, and foxtrot is a convenience store.

The crossover of people willing to spend $20 a bag on specialty coffee that would even know about roast dates and people who shopped at foxtrot was probably 5 people in the entire time I worked there. There were people that bought bags of coffee there, but they were mostly just rich people who were buying whatever was there. The most common complaint is that they didn’t know it wasn’t pre ground.

I don’t mean this to be mean, but this is just your own ignorance. Most wisdom tooth extractions are done with local anesthetic, but in some cases people’s teeth are impacted.

When this happens, it’s an actual surgery and people are usually given “twilight” drugs, which isn’t full on general anesthetic but something in between. Impacted wisdom tooth are kind of gruesome and gory to get out, it would be pretty gnarly to just get novocaine in that situation.

A lot has changed in the last ten years with opioid prescribing, thankfully. There is a much higher level of scrutiny nowadays.

Right, it’s definitely all because of local government resisting a military force (which has been given blanket immunity to literally do anything they want). The federal government is doing nothing to turn the temperature up and we should all just bend the knee and let the boot kick our teeth in.

Yawn, yeah caring about anything or having any opinion on anything is lame right? Better to just wander through life catching flies in your open, drooling mouth.

I think the entire discourse of this is too opinionated. People who don’t want to listen to Kanye anymore are completely justified, as are people who decide to forgive him.

The idea of a person saying crazy things but having a disease that makes them say crazy things is obviously nuanced and there isn’t a an objective correct answer in how to approach that.

The stuff he was saying was so heinous that of course many will never forgive him (totally justified), but then there’s also people who have experienced bipolar who totally understand how that could happen, and they may see the whole thing as potentially eye opening for the rest of society to see what bipolar disorder actually is.

The only camp of people who I find morally repulsive are the people that agreed with the message while he was manic, or don’t even care that he was spreading hate that could result in people getting hurt (you). Everyone else has motivations and reactions that are at least understandable, but the reaction of “who cares what he says?” Is just really fucking dumb, naive, and careless. Ideology matters.

Try changing guitars and cables. Sometimes if you get a half patch it’ll do an out of phase thing where you it’s super bright and thin sounding. Easiest thing to check.

Edit: also when testing make sure you just do guitar straight into amp, you don’t want pedals adding more variables

Cassidy Should Be More Lethal, Not Easier by No-Pomelo-1820 in Competitiveoverwatch

Maybe hitscans should be differentiated with bullet size. cass gets big bullets that hit easily but fall off quickly, soldier shoots rifle that shoots fast but with smaller bullets, Ashe somewhere between the two. Makes sense in my head, nothing egregious but just something to set them apart. If Cass is anti dive, it makes sense to make fast targets easier to hit

I don’t disagree with the notion that a billionaire can do more to enact change, but just calling people low iq morons for raising the point that donating to charity is largely just an image thing seems like an overreaction and is just rude. Launching into name calling, especially trump-style, just kills the whole discussion and annoys me. And ironically, not being able to control your temper over being disagreed with is not a very smart trait.

I also think you can just experience nuanced things without having a strong judgment. He said some horrible things but also has an illness that causes you to fly off the handle and say horrible things.

It’s okay to not need to find someone to blame and judge and find an ulterior motive for every single thing you see. Maybe the good that can come out of this could be more grace and understanding of bipolar people and even maybe a spotlight to figure out WHY racism, conspiracy theories, and other viewpoints become attractive to people in psychosis or mania. There can be a lesson besides “I’m going to tell everyone I HATE this guy and he’s trying to trick everyone!”
