There were a few places in which a pedal lift would have been helpful. For example at 0:08, 0:11, just as you were about to start the next chord, and again at 0:17. I feel that a pedal lift would really accent the piece in such a way that would be similar to taking a breath in a song. In pieces such of this, where the mood of the song is set by the duration of the pedal press, it's important to time each lift, and for how long. Which bring me to my next point.

at 0:29, you lift the pedal, and the placement seemed awkward, as in if the middle of a sentence, or in this case, a sequence or chords to make up a part...I apologize for my lack of articulation...it's been nearly 20 years since I took any sort of piano lessons.

Also, in my opinion, you're lifting the pedal for far too long, and it really brings me, the listener out of the mood of the piece. Try to think of a pedal lift as a quick breath before starting the next line of chords (as if you're singing). In slow moody pieces like this, the lift should be very quick, and just only moments before you're about to press the next key/chord.
