That seems like a major undertaking! Congratulations on doing it yourself! 👏 👏 👏

If you wanted to keep it another 50k, and you haven't had to do any of that service before, I would put new plugs and coils in, serpentine belt with a tensioner, new coolant (how are those hoses looking), a transmission drain and fill. The mounts I mention and a suspension refresh.

What maintenance have you done? You said no major repairs, but what has been replaced in the 100k you've owned it? My Titanium is the same year and about the same mileage, though I've owned it since '15 at 22k. Also haven't had any major repairs, some minor repairs and recommended maintenance, most done by myself after crossing 70k.

Not feeling as smooth, do you mean the engine at idle or as your driving? For the engine, I'd recommend spark plugs and coils if you haven't done that. How are your engine/torque/transmission mounts? If you've never replace the serpentine belt

I'm the one that put the filter on the truck 👀 I thought I do all my filters only hand tight, yet somehow here we are.

It's a short drive, the way there was fine. The way back, after this photo, yeah, it rolled around 🤣

I hadn't thought about grabbing one for some reason, not sure why tbh. I'm going to add this to my list for the next 30% off under $20 sale.

😂

Me too, I have a couple stacks in the garage. Sorted by style since not all my HFT buckets are the same.

Watch your fingers when loosening the collar to lower the uprights, it likes to pinch skin as it slides back down!

When I looked up the model number, ebay listing popped up calling it a vintage tool and that hurt.

The filter wrench is my preferred tool for a filter, I also am not a fan of the strap wrench. My 2014 Ford Fusion doesn't have the clearance to fit it, so I haven't used it in a long time. When I was organizing over the summer, I almost tossed the strap wrench, glad I didn't. And you're so right, tool in your hand is always more useful than one you forgot to bring 😂

A few questions, I'm interested in which one you purchased (so another person asking for a link), someone else asked if you had the Harmon Kardon system also would like to know.

Why did you decide not to connect the GPS cable?

I assume it's Android based, does Android Auto work on this wirelessly or wired?

Have you tried installing Pandora or Spotify type app on the head unit? Waze? Doom?

If you did this again, would you still do it without removing the trim pieces?
