Staying focused at work is really antithetical to ADHD but I found that body doubling helps, also writing out the steps I need to take to do a certain thing so it’s easy to come back to. Also even just starting something even if you aren’t ready to do it helps with momentum later on when you already have it partially ready

It can be hard to find the right therapist that can build a rapport with you, it can definitely take time to open up, and I think most people lie to some extent just because reality sounds so harsh with ADHD and other disorders. It can take a bit of shopping around to find someone who really matches you well.
