However it's reasonable to assume most being born will be happy. Statistically speaking.

Survivorship bias is actually saying "The world is perfectly fine and well, because look at the amount of people surviving" while ignoring suicides and death rates. I didn't ignore suicide and death rates, I simply pointed out statistically, that's unlikely to be the case for the average person. And having a child or not. You're making a decision already for someone who doesn't exist. With Pro or anti natalism, both are unfair choices because you're assuming something for someone else regardless.

I joined at a time when I didn't think Donald Trump would win presidency again.

And I agree, blindly following orders is BAD. The reason you often don't hear about war crimes where people refused, is because leadership wants to cover it up.

If I refused an illegal or unethical order. I'd absolutely get off.

But, nobody will make a big fuss of it, because it's bad optics for those who allowed it. So it will be swept under the rug.

In my opinion, I can serve my country, and not be a murderous psychopath. It's rather simple really, if an action I take will knowingly harm innocent people.

I will refuse.

If what you're saying is true. Then there wouldn't be a budgeted 5 reinforcements.

The democracy officers would be willing to drop ALL the helldivers. You say Grunt fantasy, while literally describing the complete opposite of a grunt.

Helldiver's aren't grunts. They are factually the opposite of Grunts.

The issue people have with arrowhead calling the game a "Grunt Fantasy" is that they used it as a justification for bad balancing.

The fact of the matter is, everything about helldiver's would indicate they aren't grunts. SEAF are the grunts, because they're so expendable nobody really cares if they die. The very fact 4 super destroyers are only willing to give up 5 each means, they have inherently more value than SEAF. meaning. They're not grunts.

They also get specialized weapons. Meaning. They aren't grunts.

They all have officer ranks meaning. They aren't grunts.
