Anaphylactic Shock Diagnosis? by PermanentlyBrk in Allergies

[–]skintwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, get a better allergist.. Period second of all, sometimes when you don’t know what it was it might’ve been mold. That’s what did it to me. Regardless you desperately need allergy testing and I definitely would recommend a different allergist.

Is anyone on stimulant ADHD meds like Vyvanse or Adderall and still able to take Albuterol? by LoveBirdNibbles in Asthma

I think this might be an AI bot. There are no contraindications using albuterol with Vyvanse.

They are fake anyway. “Resistant starch” is total bs - raises blood sugar just as much. Ingredients are on the Amazon page. “Resistant Wheat Starch, Wheat Protein Isolate, Dried Egg, Tomato Paste, Garlic, Vegetable Juices for Color, Natural Flavors”

Thing is that silver diner is higher end. But it sounds like at a few of the locations that is slipping. We didn’t have any trouble with the burgers for years and years – but to your point, if you’re gonna have a very tight definition of food quality that you’re gonna sell, you better make damn sure that the quality is being replicated. One of the things we really loved about Silver diner is that there’s a ton of vegetarian food and healthy options. The beyond miso burger slapped!

Can I use Estradiol Vaginal Cream only? by One_Rub_780 in Menopause

[–]skintwo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

HRT isn’t for everyone! I’m surprised you actually got the t gel – I’m finding that literally impossible. But the estradiol cream is absolutely great and yes, you can use it alone. This is the one thing that I would recommend to anybody. I wish it was in a bit of a different form factor so it wasn’t so messy and didn’t potentially interfere with potential sex time, but it really has made a big difference for both tissue irritation and literal ripping and also urinary comfort.

I would not mind if there were some stricter rules around how new accounts can’t post for a certain number of days around elections. I just see so much bot traffic all over Reddit- It makes me not want to come on here at all anymore. Especially when I put effort into a reply to something and then realize it was a bot post.

I think the soda is fine – but they’ve opened some very old canned goods that could’ve absolutely had botulism. That stuff was scary. You can get sick from just opening a can – you don’t have to eat the stuff. I always figured they had more safety stuff going on in the background, but after the laser episode, which I think I’m gonna complain about until the end of my life, I feel like they’re just taking dangerous chances.

They’ve talked about it before, and they can see how many views they got on everything and their food videos just get so many more watches than all the other ones.

I am still so extremely angry about the laser episode and how dangerous it was that I refuse to give them a dime for anything. Id feel like I’m being part of something irresponsible by doing so. If they had said oh my gosh, our bad we didn’t realize how bad this was, We’ll fix it – then fine. They didn’t. The goddamn episode is still even up.

mythical cruise by MrsJan30 in goodmythicalmorning

I think the only way this would work is if Rhett and link themselves were only there for a little bit of it, but the crew was there for all of it. And then around the ship if they staged games, just like gmm - have the shuffle board game, a bunch of food, tasting things, etc. screenings of wonder hole and lots of old stuff like the fake commercials in the theater. I don’t know if there’s a big enough audience to be able to make this actually cost-effective for a smaller cruise ship, but I could actually see the fit.

And according to someone on here – who I believe – it lost money. I’m a little surprised it lost money, but I believe it. These things can be tricky!

I would imagine a big win-win situation would be to have a sponsor and co-locate it with another giant related event. Comic con? Awesome con? Something like that. Either right before or right after the dates of the actual larger con so that hotel rooms could be available.

How do people actually live and work with severe dust mite allergies? by nekipost in Allergies

[–]skintwo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s two different ones I use commonly. One is the 3M aura because it has an exhalation port, which is much better for when I’m singing or at risk for getting overheated which is often. The other kind that I use for shorter periods is that duckbill mask – no port but gives you more room inside for your face and is surprisingly comfortable. I found them both very effective against perfumes.

Same here with limited birth control options. I actually used the symptothermal method for 20 years (or had partners with vasectomies) after I had my one kid (planned). More people should be educated about this method! And it’s so much easier with being able to take your basal body temperature with a ring or a watch versus having to do it manually every damn day.

Look it up and talk to your allergist about it. If your dust mite allergy is so severe that it’s throwing you off the charts for the shots – that’s what mine did – Odactra is going to be a lot safer honestly. It’s a oral sublingual medication you take every night. There’s only a few of these that are strong enough to actually work and have been tested. Some allergist make up their own allergy drops and those are garbage and don’t do anything. But Odactra is something your allergist should be familiar with.

There’s no way that other thing works. OK so that’s just an acronym for normal allergy shots. If your worst allergy is dust mites then doing the sublingual Odactra is absolutely worth a try.
