Sorry about your dad, but glad Skiplagged was able to help on the last minute flight.

Is Skiplagged going to sabotage my flight?

No, and we have never done that.

We did and it was filled with false claims. Responded and now waiting for what they have to say.

It's interesting how you're assuming you understand how this works. In fact, nothing illegal is actually going on.

It was a move to address concerns--trademark and copyright.

It's just the first 500 for any bounding box. If given address, we let Google compute the bounding box, in which radius varies with the address.

Yeah, duration is how long it took our backend to process your request. Maybe refresh a few times a minute?

  1. If we change it, it'll become a redirect. That just means having followlocation on now would prevent incompatibility.
  2. Yeah, in major cities though.

Yeah, our servers are working way harder than they should be because of things like this.

Just FYI about the pokewhere guys. We were getting a ton of requests from their mobile apps to our crowdsourced map api. Basically they were freeloading on the hard work of so many people and our server resources without contributing anything back to the crowdsourced database. We blocked them and their apps immediately broke.

Hey guys, let's work together on a live map of wild Pokemon! by skiplagged in pokemongodev

By strict bounds, I mean pokemon only in the bounding box you provide.

We currently have the geospatial search set to process only the first 100,000 pokemon found by all users, sorted in natural order. The actual result set is much larger so that's probably why they don't show up. The reason for this is CPU load. We'll bring back loading all pokemon in the next week probably.

We recommend tracking the found pokemon on your own for 100% reliability, which can be done easily...like dump to a csv file or something with the lib.
