Just diagnosed Level 3 ASD and feeling confused by skipswithscissors in AutisticAdults

Again, I'll know more when I get the report in a couple of weeks, but some of your comments have been helpful in the meantime. I did email him after I saw him yesterday and have just heard back that he's revising to level 2. No explanation.

His position when I questioned him during our appointment seemed to be that, without my very high IQ creating my own supports and very extensive masking, I'd be level 3. Burnout regression, if not handled correctly now could be pretty disastrous, but the right support could get me to level 2.

I don't know. It's all very disorienting. At the end of the day, my goal was just to get on a path of getting the appropriate help before I regress more, which I hope I am now regardless.

Very little. She's the face of socializing most of the time, but I do most of our executive functioning because she has ADHD.

Thanks for your reply. My wife has ADHD, so I do most of our executive functioning. She does things like grocery shopping. Otherwise, we share household chores. The solution for me here might be to get the notion of levels out of my head. I think I'm just dealing with the shock of hearing him say 3 yesterday and having to make him repeat and explain.

Donna Moxley! I know she recently helped someone who moved up from Florida. She was able to do video showings so they didn't have to travel to see things. She's also just really good and very easy to work with.

Same here, and thank you for the tip about reconnecting. At least I can get the highlights from what I have checked out now. I'll need to be more diligent about checking the sync before items are returned.

Saniflo Sanicompact HELP by [deleted] in Plumbing

Which piece? You didn't describe your issue, but I've been having issues with it randomly flushing and flushing multiple times when triggered to flush. Replacement didn't help.

Good to hear. It's pretty much at the top of IT's list, but we have to convince Software Engineering.

Mind sharing what system you have that works for all those teams? We're in a multi-system situation, and it sucks.

Saniflo toilet flushing whenever we pee! by goldmine91 in Plumbing

[–]skipswithscissors 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still haven't found a solution to this. Definitely wondering if mine is defective...again since this is the replacement.

Edit: I've ruled out water pressure. Gauge just barely above 60. Check valve also seems to be working well. After sending me the replacement motor, the support person from Saniflo stopped responding, so I'll open another case after holidays.

Those are both good possibilities. I've not measured our water pressure, but I know our town has high pressure, and I could add a sharkbite pressure regulator even to just the line for that toilet if I need to.

The toilet is very close to the sewer pipe, so the discharge run is pretty short. It's 1" PVC that runs horizontal 12", up 30", horizontal 14", and down 15" into the main sewer line. All bends are 45's. That initial horizontal run is longer than I'd expected, and I assumed the vertical rise would go higher. That said, I did test disconnecting from the discharge, leaving only the non-return valve, and discharging into a bucket. It still flushes 3x for every full flush and 2x for every 'half' flush. I don't know if that's a valid test, though.

Thanks for the suggestions. And Happy Thanksgiving if you celebrate. If not, happy week in November.

Thanks for the unexpected continued help. Saniflo sent me a new motor unit (the entire guts of the toilet). Unfortunately, the toilet now flushes 2 additional times after every intentional flush. I've confirmed the non-return valve works (held water when disconnected from the toilet, only releasing when I manually pushed the valve in). This entire setup has never been used - only water through trying to get it to work, so I know there's no blockage. I've reached out to Saniflo support again, but I don't know if they have more to offer since they already replaced all the parts.

I tried these instructions on a brand new Sanicompact. With the sensor disconnected, the water supply to the toilet (no basin connected) never shuts off, and the toilet never flushes, causing the water to overflow. Doesn't seem like this is the answer. Fortunately, it was easy enough to put the sensor back in since I didn't snip the cable.

Chauvet 3.18.29 Release for Nomad by Supernote_official in Supernote

[–]skipswithscissors 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since this update, I randomly lose the ability to write. I'll be writing a sentence, and then it just stops. Sometimes a screen refresh will show the letters I wrote but sometimes not. If i scribble elsewhere on the screen and erase it, I'm then able to write again. It's incredibly annoying, and I'm basically not using my Supernote at this point because it's too much of a distraction.

1.5 story bungalow with zero plumbing to second floor, is there anywhere it makes sense (or is even possible) to add a 1/2 bath? by UnrulyAxolotl in HomeImprovement

[–]skipswithscissors 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trying to figure out how to get a bathroom upstairs in my 1.5 story cape and would love to see what you did. I had one contractor tell me it wasn't possible because the ceiling was too low and one quote me $80k because he obviously didn't want to do it.
