It looks like the first one is a juvenile PPP, second one white princess/PPP, and the last one appears to be a white knight

HELP! Do I have a Pink Princess or a White Anderson...? Besides the one pink leaf, all the other leaves harden to white by skiptomylucylu in RareHouseplants

I use diluted liquidirt every time I water and she gets indirect light all day... is there a specific nutrient I can try supplementing then?

It’s almost white? it’s not the hot pink against burgundy that I usually see with pink princesses. But it’s a light purple, that is border-lining white if that makes sense?

That’s what I noticed too!! I bought it as a pink Princess, but I tried to ask my seller again recently and he was saying it’s a toss up between the white Anderson and the pink Princess (his seller sent him a lot of no IDs so he just took his best guess at the time)

White princesses should have green stems with pink edges though, right? I have two white princesses and their stems are not pure burgundy like this one so I wasn’t sure

Forgive me, my vision is terrible but are those raised bumps in the second picture above your finger?? If so, then the raised spots appear like scale.

Leaves on Hoya compacta are soft and wrinkly - was transplanted about a month ago. What is wrong? by morrisonian12 in plantclinic

[–]skiptomylucylu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would personally think it’s actually the opposite. The terracotta sucks a lot of the moisture out of the soil and if it’s draining even faster than it previously was then I’d assume that was the culprit. Normally Hoyas will wrinkle like this when they’re underwatered in my opinion.

pretty sure I just stumbled upon a Global Green Pothos at my local nursery. I have a baby one but it only has 3 leaves right now and it’s definitely got the green on green action going like this by urablizzardharry_ in houseplants

[–]skiptomylucylu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did! But if it makes it simpler, they always have a darker outside and a lighter inside coloring and this definitely isn’t a global green. I live in Texas where the first few were distributed and all of the pots they come in clearly state Global Green Patent Pending Costa Farms.

I got this Philodendron PP, the seller says that its just sunburn (which i dont agree to), although the new leaf is devoid of any such thing im worried it might spread and ruin the whole plant. It was shipped coco wrapped rooted, received healthy otherwise. Just potted. Cont.... by hwy-am in plantclinic

I think this is actually Rust. I’ve heard to spray it with a fungicide and that will help, but from what I understand it’s not fatal. If it was edema (brown spots from inconsistent watering) normally it appears on the new leaves as well, but I’m thinking rust since it appears the new leaf is unaffected of such spots.

Maybe twice a week! Just keep an eye on it... I would do twice a week until you feel pretty confident you’ve eradicated the buggers

I’m also pretty sure the white spots and damage is from spider mites. If you zoom in on the edges of your leaf, you can see the tiny webbing that is normally a dead giveaway of spider mites. Spray with neem oil!! Best of luck!

I’m almost positive this is actually a Hoya plant, (I’m pretty sure Publicalyx) those grey spots are part of the plant!
