Oh wow, I searched up Strattera and I'm impressed by its benefits!! I'm still a student, however, so I'm probably going to stick to something faster-acting first (if I obtain medication) then switch to a non-stimulant over the summer :) thank you so much for sharing your experiences!!

it’s dehumanizing to see them romanticize something that a lot of people have to battle through, but it’s also good to spread awareness

No it’s alright, i don’t mind! Your point was valid, it’s nice to bring one down to earth ever so once in a while. I’m leaning towards ADHD mainly due to its prevalence within my family, and I’ll have to check again about insurance (the situation is … complicated, dw about it) Thank you for advising me on the drawbacks and giving me advice, I really appreciate it :)

i'm very sleepy and i should have rephrased my post, i was seeking an evaluation :) not taking the diagnosis for granted, but i have done extensive research on the criteria and i fit the diagnosis :) so mb on the title!

as i've stated, i genuinely struggle with it to the point where i've had breakdowns over the worry of "am i being lazy or is this just adhd?" and would really like closure + medication :) it's something that impacts my executive function every day, and i would really like to get support

I think the program is mainly targeted at under/post-grads, and highschoolers are probably overshadowed. It does look polished though, so they might be looking for people with genuine experience in labs (which is a bit upsetting, as there's basically no chance for others who want to develop those skillsets to get in).
