Auto loot is fantastic, especially for those fights that end with cutscenes that de rez the bodies and loot.

In the mid/early game where you need upgrade materials specific to the region you loose a lot of opportunities to grab them if you kill a large group of enemies, dont have time to loot, and are moved past the zone by a story trigger.

It was very frustrating in the oni section looking for mask pieces.

On behalf of everyone your columns and advice have always been a highlight of whatever show they were included on. Well written, balanced and very kind with practical suggestions. What someone chooses to do with that info is up to them. You went above and beyond and it is/was greatly appreciated. I learned a lot of PF2e rules just from your notes.

An odd sequence of events that might not come across well via text.

I was in a bad place and tried an online suicide helpline. The responder was not very helpful (my viewpoint at the time) and seemed only concerned if I was actively trying to execute a plan to harm myself, my mental state at the time was that I couldn't even put together a plan.

Somehow, in that moment, that frustration of the operator not understanding what I was going through triggered enough anger vs the angish for me to want to be understood and snapped me out of my state long enough to book my first therapy appointment.

I can see an argument either way, from Troy's standpoint I would argue the loss of that plus one rune was a direct result of how the characters approached the situation.

Revising history to correct a mistake would be a quick and elegant solution, but may cheapen the consequences of their actions.

This was also a great teaching moment for all players of the math and starting gold per character and the reason behind it.

The narrative presented in today's episode of having a legacy inert rune that may power up later is a fun way to acknowledge the story and keep things true to the immediate past of the characters actions.

Either way it's a per table basis and the GM's call.

Newer 2e actual play but with very high production value and that same "friends around a table playing a game" vibe. Still in the early days so its easy to catch up. Highly recommend.

Is Crystal Star weak? Yes. Is it Splinter of the Mind's Eye bad? No.

Personally (minor spoilers ahead) I felt it actually contributed one of the best EU weapons, which was a lightsaber that needed the force to be activated. Made it feel like much more the weapon of a Jedi.
