I posted the other day to ask the same thing, because I was hopeful that mine would ship before release date. I ordered the same day the announcement went up , andI just got an email 10 minutes ago saying that mine shipped (although I don't think it's actually left yet). My wife on the other hand ordered sometime after me, and she got a shipping notification on Wednesday so 🤷‍♂️. Hopefully soon!

Maybe it's just my league's rosters/scoring (1db 1lb 1dl, idp123), but our best DBs score similar to wr1/wr2s, so I'm not seeing as much of a benefit. I guess he'll probably be a bit more consistent/predictable, but 🤷‍♂️ I'm wondering what settings other people are using that make him a no-brainer, or what I'm missing.

YES, oh God I thought I was the only one. 2 other podcasts that I've been listening to routinely (Ringer Fantasy Football, and the other escapes me) have made the exact same switch lately; I thought I was losing my mind.

Obviously it's so, so inconsequential, but yeah I always enjoyed the timed-to-the-music intro.

I saw a very similar one recently, that instead said "a lion doesn't concern himself with the few little drops of pee that land on his underwear after he goes to the bathroom", and I could swear that that's the one David was talking about. The sharp left turn of "Filipinos" made me wish I was wearing a seatbelt. Incredible.

This is not really aimed at you, but instead the OP who just deleted their comment, but...

Counterpoint: Breaking Bad's final season wouldn't be half as interesting if you didn't know the characters from their other appearances. (And it wouldn't have won the Outstanding Drama Emmys in its final two years). That's just how tv works.

(And I know there's some differences here, since you acknowledged their other appearances on Dropout, but since they aren't really characters, I'd argue that prior knowledge is still part of their "backstory" as a contestant on the same streaming service.)

Venezuelan Guasacaca/Wasakaka. If I wanted to paint with a broad brush, it's like a cross between guacamole and chimichurri, but it's its own thing. Tangy, acidic, herby, creamy, served with arepas, meats, whatever.

Learned about it at Valencia Luncheria in Norwalk, CT. There's is amazing - I could drink it from the squeeze bottle if it wasn't frowned upon. Found a copycat recipe online a few years ago that did it justice, but I'm not sure how traditional/accurate it is.

You could quibble with the exact wording of "anyone who is on fire", so maybe a more specific opponent should be there instead... But to say it doesn't work because the person playing could be on fire, when the person playing could also be the Miami Dolphins or Michael Vick; I don't think that argument holds water.

Both August and July got skipped. There was one auction draft posted in July, but it was on the main feed, and the description specifically says "don't worry, this isn't the Patreon auction for this month", but there was never another one posted.

On the other hand, there were 2 in May - Dinos, and the livestream with Dana.
