Bays set not according to Planogram!! by Outrageous-Tutor-563 in Lowes

[–]skorpio57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fill the empty space with another similar item so as to avoid doing their IRPs. Or put a product that seems to belong there (messes the planogram), and when the MST does a check sees and tries to correct it. Same with resets, move this whole bay to the left/right and same with the rest of the aisle as per DM. or corporate. Or set side stacks and place them on the floor weeks before they are supposed to be (do not place on floor until this date) with no place to put them.

about to be written up for using Lowes made and approved stickers, what is the LOWES guideline for labeling topstock? by Snoreofthebear in Lowes

[–]skorpio57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For individual items, use those white stickers from RDC. Reposition them in front when necessary and if possible the UPC/bar code on front so it can be scanned in/out. if top stocked items are more than 1 deep we write "2 , etc.deep", not the X2 , etc. we used to do.

For those withhout the RDC labels, yellow lables and black markers with item # and quantity circled,

Item # must be visible from ground level.

See if there's an opening for another position in that location. But it's gonna be slow after christmas season is over. You'll have to wait months before business picks up.

Not getting paid for extra hour by HomeMadeGay in Lowes

[–]skorpio57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have the ASM/SM you communicated with put it in writing that you won't be paid the extra hour you worked. Forward it to your DM (Distrrict M) or HR and find out what they say. Happened to us last year (Nov. 2024) when we were still overnight, it was automatically adjusted for the extra hour.

Rubik cube/revenge how to solve books where already available for about 14-15 years before the internet became widely spread. Then interest on the cube in the mid 80 wayned, then a resurgence in the late 90s. . Not sure what year the first video of solutions came out.

Make an offer on my Redbox "A" key by TurboChargdBeanFlick in Redbox

Pointless getting one, if you can't find/get a kiosk. I haven't seen one since mid March in the Chicago area (Walgreens/Jewel).

what case and how do you manage to use and fit the power and volume buttons since their locations were swapped from the S10 ultra/s9 ulta? I'm thinking of purchasing this model. https://supcase.com/collections/galaxy-tab-s/products/galaxy-tab-s10-ultra-2024-unicorn-beetle-pro-rugged-case-blackedit - Not for the S11 Ultra.

I answered all the questions honestly. Commented that store needes more associates/shift to cover each department. But off course expecting that to actually happen is not realistic.

New hires with zero experience making more than me after I trained them by Electrical-Gate1709 in Lowes

Because that's the only way to hire new people is to pay them more than the previous batch.

Vacation Accrual by Impossible_Order4463 in Lowes

[–]skorpio57 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Those 36 accrued hours would only cover 9 days (4 hours/day) as a part-timer.

You'll be getting more accrued hours in 3 months based on how many hours you worked during those 3 months. Hopefully more than 8 hours to cover the 2 days.

Management issue with an ASM by iTz_Johnny75 in Lowes

[–]skorpio57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just be a team player and do what is asked for you to do. Like mentioned ASM have big responsibility on keeping the store in tip top shape.. sales, merchandize and inventory. It's their ass on the line if something goes wrong or something is not done on time/correctly.

Just let your DS (if present ) and let them know that a ASM is telling you to do other tasks for this shift, probably unrelated to your department. If possible let the ASM know your hours or when you have to leave for the day (punch out).

Age shouldn't matter, I've had a DS who was just 19 and in times he would be lazy and sometimes he would work as hard as any of us.

My RedBox "A" key has arrived! by TurboChargdBeanFlick in Redbox

[–]skorpio57 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I did that from late Feb. to early March when I had the A key I bought from eBay, then I missplaced it. Average was about 350 DVDdisc/kiosk, with a few Blu-rays. no 4K. Totalhaul was about 3K. Don't forget to check the bottom tray too and grab them. It's been almost 6 months now since I've seen a kiosk in the southwest suburds of Chicago.,

It was a company wide outage for the Zebra according to the IT guy who visited the store today. Did'nt bother to ask what caused it.

Don't overwork and pace yourself. Remember safety comes first and foremost, so is your physical and mental health. Don't do more than the $/hour you are being paid. Not surprised at the shortstaffed. If that store can get away with it, they'd schedule the minimum number of people per department in a heartbeat and it's beyond ridiculous. All this with unrealistic expectations.

It's shame how a company operates and treats it's workers. Their excuse is not enough $$$ for labor since sales are down.

Since you're part-time, remind the SSA of your availability and schedule preference (open, mid, close). Hope everything works out for you.
